Recommended by my architect, Laurence did a first class job on converting our garage to a studio. We found him to be a skilled multi trade professional who knows and works to the building codes. He kept to the job till done and didn't wonder off to work elsewhere. Very happy with the result structurally and cosmetically. Personable, trustworthy and have no hesitation in recommending him and using in the future. PS - he likes strong tea!

Laurence converted a dilapidated Victorian brick garden out-building, into a superb garden room for us. He came with a wonderful recommendation from neighbours, having poured a complicated concrete floor for their extension.From start, to project completion, Laurence worked meticulously, and to the highest of standards, in all aspects of the construction. Everything was done efficiently , and the project was completed on time, and on budget.Laurence organised and supervised any additional contractors that were required, such as sliding door construction, but the vast bulk of the work (flooring, bricklaying, insulating, tiling, plastering, rendering) he did himself.Throughout the project he coped, without any fuss, with any unforeseen issues which arose, and provided solutions. The disruption to the garden was thoughtfully minimised, and everything kept tidy.Laurence is highly skilled; totally professional, and a delightful person to have working in your homeWe cannot recommend him highly enough.

Laurence “dog proofed” our garden and replaced the fascia on the double garage which had been very poorly “fixed” a few years previously. He did an excellent job, his communication is great and he was very reliable.

We were thrilled with the work Laurence did updating our kitchen and creating a new shower room under our stairs. We were so impressed that Laurence was a master of so many trades himself - building, tiling, and plastering. Saved us having to get in and manage additional trades. The quality of all of Laurence’s work is exceptional; and his communications were great throughout. He is also a lovely guy! Would highly recommend.

Laurence has done a few things for us, and is a great builder and lovely guy. We first met in 2021 when we had an extension built and Laurence was responsible for the demolition, ground works, foundations, sewage and drains (I'm sure it was more) Thoughtful, thorough and incredibly reliable. He's done a building renovation for neighbours after we recommended him and they loved it. Recently we contacted him about multiple roofing issues and advice. He organised a visit and they managed to fix a roofing issue nobody else could; the full roof repair can now be done in Spring and we will do this with Laurence.

We are delighted with all the work Laurence carried out on our various projects this Spring, especially as they were undertaken to time and budget with excellent communication throughout. As Laurence is a skilled builder (and something of a perfectionist), it is no surprise that all works have been completed to a high standard, and in keeping with the original design concepts. It would be easy to keep finding more things for him to do!
