Hoong Too

Been here a couple of times, generally it's quite tasty. However tonight we ordered for delivery for the 1st time, we ordered at bang on the opening time, it took 50 minutes to arrive. Once here if you refer to the pictures you can see the quality was absolutely appauling. Special Vietnamese fried rice, had less than 30 grams of meat, not a single prawn and the rice was burnt. We only rang up to ask if they had sent the wrong rice as it was Niether spicy or had anything special in it, the owner spent 10 minutes on the phone telling me what should be in it, including prawns, she did not understand that not only were there no prawns at all but there was practically zero meat in it and that it was burnt. Refused to do anything about it or exchange it, chef then came on phone to explain that was the normal amount and we should go else where, no question about that, we shall not be going again. Mixed starter was 2 meatless ribs, and 6 pieces of batter with half a prawn toast. Honestly there are far far better Chinese takeaways less then 300 meters away. Will wait till others open 30 minutee later in future.

Absolutely the best Chinese there crispy pancakes are so nice with the curry sauce or the curry dishes I come all the way from S20 for this Chinese and its well worth it.

Food was overcooked , bland & tasteless.. chicken chow mein was just a tray of overcooked noodles & onions & was a strange brown colour..chicken curry didn't taste like curry at all & the veg in the blackbean was soft & mushy..very disappointed.. probably the worst chinese takeaway I've ever had....

Just ordered and the food delivered was vile .It's all been chucked in the bin you could tell it hasnt been cooked fresh it's old food that's been re heated .burnt rice and chicken very dry .Been ordering for years from here but thd last couple of times haven't been nice so won't order from here again

It's odd they don't take full advantage of football match days. Their curry sauce is one of the best around however their chips eaten today were poor resembling stale chips which had been reheated causing them to be chewy - bit of a let down today.

I found THE BEST Chinese takeaway in the UK. The Spring rolls are Insane. The Large is a meal on its own. I'm officially in love with this place. Just wish they were open 24/365... I know that's selfish of me... but oh my gosh.... their food is divine.

As many others have said, the best chicken curry on planet earth. I have been frequenting this establishment for over 25 years and the consistency and quality hasn't changed at all. The chips and spring rolls (the big ones) also deserve a mention. I highly recommend this place!
