Chris is an excellent teacher. She has a genuine passion for fashion and dressmaking and is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced dressmaker and teacher. She has so much patience with students and goes above and beyond to help you create the clothes you have only every dreamt of making. I would highly recommend her classes to both beginners and experienced sewers.

So I will add to them.-If you can stitch it, Chris can help you to sew it- She was born to teach and create- You will make things you never dreamed you couldI have really enjoyed learning pattern cutting, and learning about fit and design. I’m definitely progressing, and I now have some garments that I’ve made from start to finish. My own pattern, my own design and a garment that fits well and accommodates my “wonky” body. Thanks so much, Chris.

Christine who runs the studio is Super, super helpful. Has a wealth of knowledge on anything to do with textiles whether it’s guiding you through a dressmaking project, upholstery or making your own curtains or blinds. I love it and met some great like minded people too. Highly recommended

Chris is a wonderful, talented, caring sewing teacher who over the past two years has become my weekly mentor in sewing and life. I look forward to my class all week, I’ve learnt so much and she’s guided me through complicated projects I could simply never have attempted on my own. There is also a great social aspect with Chris’ classes and getting to know the other women in the classes is an absolute joy week to week. This class is like therapy and I cannot wait for the next one, it feels like a family. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Sewing club with Chris is a brilliant place to learn ; it’s a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we get so much done every time. Chris is a very knowledgeable teacher, sharing her passion for sewing with us all. I’ve made clothes I could only dream to have made a year ago when I joined a class. Highly recommend !
