Richard Bowers Photography

Rick has a great knowledge of sailing generally having been in the sport for many years and therefore has a unique prospective of how photography can be used to bring out the best of boats and sailors.

Richard was the photographer for the 2000 Nationals in 2022, and the photos taken were fantastic! All entrants expressed their thanks and had a great portfolio to choose from. Pictures were taken from all distances so there was something for everyone, from close up face shots, to boat action shots, and fleet shots, and these were all made available in the club after racing. Great job.

Super photos at a great price!

I am RS Class Association Secretary. Richard did the photography for our Noble Marine RS700 and RS800 National Championship at Castle Cove in 2021. The photos were great and his turnaround was really quick. He also did super work for the Astral Azure 2000 National Championship in 2022. He is highly recommended!

My wife Lijia Xu CHN did a photo shoot with Richard and she said My photos with Richard came out brilliantly and my sponsor was super happy about them. I enjoyed working with Richard as he can grab the most natural me in front of a camera. He is awesome especially in capturing sailing photos with the challenge of unstable sea state. Can't wait to have more fun on the water while Richard helps me to save the memory in still mode.
