We drove half an hour to get to Basil cafe and it was wirth it! We had gluten free blueberry and pecan pancakes with greek yogurt that smack hit the sweet spot and managed to fill a hungry teenagers belly. We also had the bacon and avocado on gluten free toast that was equally scrumptious. Coffees were good also - definitely worthy if you're a traveller looking for good food, good service and happy staff to serve you. Parking is competitive so you might have to drive around the streets till you find one. Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly but still a great place to go

Ordered a sausage roll. I was asked if I wanted it hot or cold then quickly told actually today it has to be hot(can only assume they were going out of date ) I then got given it on top of a wet lettuce leaf giving me a soggy bottomed sausage roll.

Went for breakfast today in the Tonbridge branch and I don't think I've ever seen such a bunch of friendly staff members (especially at 9am in the morning!) what a lovely group of people. We asked if they had any vegan cooked breakfasts and the staff went out of their way to accomodate us, making recommendations and offering alterations. Your staff should be priased and you could tell all the staff liked each other and got along, this is the art of customer service that is hard to come by these days!

Fantastic breakfast experience. Took a little while for food to arrive but well worth the wait. Superb bacon butty and surprisingly good coffee.

Have lunch here once a week or so. Their cakes are a highlight. This bailey chocolate cake is so moist and rich, and huge I couldn’t finish it and have to bring it home.

At 1PM on Sunday the place was packed, but we were lucky someone was just leaving, so we did get a table. Looks like it's very popular with locals: everyone was chatting with everyone else, except us, of course.The cafe is nice and clean. Pancakes with compote were really nice.

Nice cafe/eatery place along Tonbridge High Street to relax and have a hot beverage and bite to eat... I've only had cups of tea whilst popping in but from what I've seen of the food being served to other customers it looks nice and delicious so will have to try out the menus soon... The place itself has a warm and friendly atmosphere where it has a loyal customer base of locals from the area...

Nice little café with good food and a few vegetarian options. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere is warm.It also has a free wifi for customers, great to do some work done. Thank you Basil
