Chips were tasteless, sausage was over cooked and both me and my son found a hair in our chips. Will not be using again and I’m not surprised it was empty at 5pm on a Friday!

Ordered for 6 people. So disappointed that within half an hour I rang for a refund. Awful chips, dry, chewy and inedible. Fish was dripping with oil/grease. Manager accepted my complaint and I got a refund. Manager blamed a bad batch of potatoes, so obviously not freshly prepared.I would not recommend this place at all. Staff were not wearing hair nets or gloves to serve or prepare food. Whilst the portion sizes are very good that’s not much good when it’s too disgusting to eat.

Long wait for a simple order of fish and chips. Packaged in a large paper bag which leaked oil everywhere. Food was really bad. Fish batter was hard and chips were soggy and not nice at all.

Not a good experience. Fish batter was soggy and half of it was came off onto the chips. Chips were RAW and Saverloy had zero taste. Avoid and try Frydales in Leicester for a proper experience!

We ordered via justeat for a collection, upon arrival I was informed it will be ready in 2 minutes but then had to wait 10 minutes in store for our meal. When our meal was finally ready, they informed me that they didn't have anymore large haddocks in stock and had to substitute it with small haddocks - not that much of an issue but they could of informed me when I came in store not last minute where I had no choice... Part of our main we had a chicken tikka naan which was burnt and dry. My partner couldn't finish it and definitely ruined his appetite. My fish was very overcooked and dry too, unfortunately we couldn't eat it at all. A bit of a shame as it's our local chippy, we did forward our complaint to just eat too but their advice was to check the food next time. Seems a bit silly to open up all our food on their counter, safe to say we won't be returning anytime soon!

I have never seen like this disgusting food in my life. I ordered chicken tikka with nan bread, it's not edible. I just put all in the bin.

ordered 2 large chips, 3 fish cakes, and a battered mars bar and was given the order not even 5 minutes after ordering. staff are lovely and friendly and greet you with a lovely welcome, highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal and no wait time.
