Beautiful! We found 18 species of fungi during our walk!!! Amazing. Anglers Country Park adjacent to the woods gorgeous and especially on a bright autumn day. The visitor centre and cafe definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful woodland walks through pine and oak trees. Particularly tranquil on weekdays when not many people are visiting.

Haw Park Wood
Great place for a walk, being local its one of the places i visit regular. There is some steep parts along the right side as it goes down hill a bit, carrying on down right side brings you to the old disused Barnsley canal. Turning right here takes you towards Walton. Left brings you along the canal back up towards haw park. Which splits off into different areas. The pine trees smell beautiful. You never know you might just see a Wookie or 2.
