I’ve been probably going to this shop once a fortnight to buy tofu, but what I bought this week had started to go moldy, although it still had two weeks on the expiry date. When I returned it the manager tried to find every excuse possible to get out of replacing it. Asking if I had a receipt (I had the transaction on my banking app), if I stored it properly (it was still cold from my fridge), the weather!?! and that I should check everything thoroughly before purchase (obviously there is a element of trust when buying anything). They even suggested that I bought it, left it out, noticed it had gone moldy and then chilled it, as though I was playing a long game in the heist of the century in getting a new pack of tofu.His attitude was very much that obviously he wasn’t responsible for anything sold in his shop, how could I have made that mistake? What on earth was he going to do about it? He just ran the store.After some raising of voices they finally relented and let me have a new pack of tofu.Joke is on him there is another Chinese Supermarket on the street and although they are apparently rude I will take my chances there from now on.

Very good attitude staffs

You can always find delicious East Asian snacks and some Chinese daily necessities there. The store also always organizes promotional activities to help international students save money. The good location makes international students living nearby happy to buy something to eat after class or before going home.

Guy really helpful and selection is huge.

Very difficult to shop due to language barriers and obviously the authentic stuff is naturally written in chinese. So in summary the chouces are excellent but you may have to brush up on your mandarin to find the obscure stuff. So from my experience i have had to mark low stars

It's a decent little market. It has all the things i needed.

I ordered 4 hot pot online last night by using the link shown in google map. I didn’t expect any gifts, but they prepared 4 more to me. I was really thankful that. However, when I brought them home this afternoon, I found that the BBD of 7 of them is today. I was shocked because not only that, but also they told me if I don’t want it, they can sell to others and if I return them, I have to pay extra delivery fee. Also I heard their laughter on the phone. What a disappointing shopping experience!
