Abbotts Removals

So annoyed to be writing a negative review, but feel I have to through frustration. I can't comment on the removal service, however, I have spent 2 days trying to organise a quote booking. Spoke to the gentleman the day before and booked a 1 hour time slot which came and went. When I called to ask where they were I was told he never makes mistakes so I must have misheard the time (I run an appointment based business and run a very efficient diary). A second day & time was then made over the phone which during the same conversation he confirmed a different time to what he had agreed with me 1 minute previously - perhaps not so efficient with appointment keeping. He has just arrived over an hour before the quoted time organised yesterday, and frustratingly declared he was not prepared to drive to Bedford again. Unfortunately I have clients in the house for work which is the reason I have very strict timings. The company was recommended through a patient of mine and sadly I feel they have let custom down on the first approach with a 'customer is wrong' attitude and poor diary management.

I cannot recommend this Company highly enough.The whole team were very professional, efficient, and friendlywhich made the moving experience run extremely smoothlyand the rates are also reasonable.

Used Abbotts to help us with a move across town. Quote was very reasonable and they were able to come see us in the evening to price up the job.Arrived promptly on the day and were quickly to work. Move went well and they were kind enough to pop back to our old property to pick up one item of furniture that we had forgotten.Would recommend highly.

We used Abbots to move in June 2014, after recommendation by a friend who had used them.Excellent service very helpful before and after moving. We had an issue with our sellers refusing to give up the keys on completion because their solicitor had gone to lunch, without telling them. Abbots were patient whilst we sorted this issue.Once we were in they were fast to unload and move the furniture and boxes into the correct rooms. No damage was caused in the removal of our belongings.Would not hesitate in recommending Abbots or using them again. A+++ service
