Argos Merthyr Tydfil Cyfarthfa Retail Park

Terrible customer service. Usually shop online but my mum needed a new sky remote so popped in as was in the area. Was greeted by a very unfriendly miss trunchball at the door telling us off for using the 'wrong door'. Very aggressive, unpleasant and unfriendly. I pointed out that they had no signage to indicate it was a 1 way system and she advised that 'that door is usually closed' and then proceeded to tell another family off who made the same mistake behind us. This staff member definitely needs to work on her customer service skills or should be kept in the warehouse away from customers. Label your doors, dont assume customers already know and don't speak to customers as though you are telling off a child infront of other customers. Its rude, belittling and unprofessional. Will stick to shopping online from now on to avoid unfriendly staff.

Nice clean store, very quick service. Good value items and sells just about everything.Has recently had a EE shop installed which also has very friendly staff.Only problem is it's a nightmare to park near on busy times, especially if you're looking to but a large object.

Just picked up a rowing machine from this argos and told I couldn't borrow sack trolley to take to my car,on the box it says two man lift also they dragged the box from wherever they stored it. What a bunch of inconsiderate people I thought the needs of a customer came first how wrong I was

Argos I suppose have a good reputation. It's a shame this branch has left the rest down.Not the most unpleasant person I talked to this week, but it's got to be in the top 3. Some people are just plain iggnorent and rude.What ever happend to the old saying the customers always right'I will never shop there again

Returned a faulty item!! The woman who delt with me had a stinking attitude problem! Told me i couldn't have a refund only an exchange which was out of stock!!She then said I'll put it on a gift card for you because i cant be bothered!! So now i have £160 on a gift card that's not going to be used!!Christine should learn some customer service skills!!

I ordered a wardrobe online, they brought it today the upper part of the packaging completely wet and torn, the water has penetrated 2 of the boards damaging it. Unbelievable, How can they deliver something like this? Tomorrow I will make a claim. First and last time I buy something there. Totally disappointed. You can have a look to the pictures.

Will never use argos again.we called over to pick up 6 bags of play sand for my autistic son.young lady trollied out the first 3 little bags of sand to the car,which was only 4 spaces from the store.when the young lady went to fetch the next 3 bags a jobsworth at the entrance said she wasnt supposed to do this.we had to go into the store and carry the rest out.redicilous to be fair

Black Friday at 4.00pm I went to matalan to get my mothers order and just as I left a tall man with a thick curly beard came over and started asking for tobacco now I don’t smoke never have never will do not agree with it personally not me and I tells him I don’t want nothing to do with the stuff and he starts getting angry rising his voice telling me to listen to him said he’d just sat in argos for 30 minutes waiting for his orders I say sorry to hear about that but he’s not happy starts saying I’m being sarcastick and giving him attitude I decide that’s enough march in the store ask a lady in black what’s with the riff raff outside her store she says she don’t know and it’s not her store so I leave and he’s gone and I realise I’d left my matalan bags on the floor and they were now gone so logicly the man must’ve stolen them so I go back in and go right up to the counter and some lady gave me daggers because I pushed in but I don’t care . I ask the argos man to check his cctv because I’ve just been robbed and he says he don’t know if they have it and he only delivers and to me that sounds disgusting what if Id gotten stabbed what would argos have done then fourty pounds £ I spent on my matalan order and now it’s gone I’m so sick of merthyr wish I’d never moved from brecon what a pighole of a place ! he said he could ask in back but I thinks don’t bother and just left it at that went back to the car cried my heart out felt terrible don’t have cardigans now for christmas but like the strong woman my mother told me to be I moved on . went back in treated myself to some christmas lights had a sit down while I weighted and it was a fast service fair play given it’s Black Friday not like matalan full of kids who can’t think as fast as tey work but argos was ok fair play gave me my set of lights did ask if I wanted cards and that but said no and I don’t think they should ask at till just wanted to pay what if I was a young fool boy who did ent know any better about credit unlike I . never mind that though aside from the less than satisfactry cctv and shadey credit plan I thought it was good enough would like my matalan order back but was no fault of the shop might come back and buy a new tree thanks x
