Robin’s Bicycle Workshop

Robin serviced my family’s bikes following them being covered in building dust, which could damage the oily parts.Robin dismantled and soaked all the components and when he finished, the bikes worked as good as new!Thank you Robin for a job well done.

Robin is brilliant! I’ve used him twice since moving to the area and have been really impressed with his fantastic work and his incredible customer service. My most recent visit involved my crank shearing off the bottom bracket of my Brompton whilst riding it yesterday. I feared it would be out of action for a week or more, but 24hrs later it’s all fixed and I’m back on the road. Superb. Thanks Robin!

I recently moved to the area and took a punt on keeping it local for assistance with a bike build from scratch ready for a spontaneously arranged week long bike trip, with only a couple of weeks to get the bike ready - so the stakes were high and I’m grateful to say that Robin came through big time - and far exceeded expectations with service, quality, understanding, reliability and communications. I won’t go anywhere else when it comes to any work needing to be done on my ever increasing number of bikes ! It’s a pleasure dealing with Robin and it’s reassuring to know he’s there to assist

Robin brought my tandem back to its former glory. The tandem is 20+years old and had been out in the garden for 12 years. Robin took it all apart, advised and changed parts that needed replacing and my son and I just had a successful test drive around our village.

I've been using Robin for almost 3 years now to service and maintain all 4 bikes I have. The service he provides is outstanding, I wouldn't take my bikes anywhere else to be looked at. Any job, no matter how big or small, Robin has always taken on the work and managed to resolve the issue/get me back out on two wheels! I can't recommend Robin highly enough!!!

Robin is brilliant at repairing and servicing bikes. He is very responsive when you have a problem and his servicing is first class. Highly recommend him.

Took my old, 'retro' Marin MTB that had been languishing in the back of the shed for years for Robin to fix, he did an an amazing job sorting it all out. Its going a treat, gears are so smooth now and of course the disc brakes are transformed. I have been taking that bike out in preference to my much newer Specialized. Love having my old bike in such good working order, thank you very much

Robin serviced my bike as I was having a lot if niggles with it. It is now running perfectly again. Communication with Robin of what he was going to do, along with costs and timings were clear and he kept me informed. I will definitely be using him again. Thank you for a great job

I just had my winter training bike serviced by Robin. It’s a Trek 1.7 and it’s old but I love it.I’ve ridden throughout winter on her and haven’t been as thorough with cleaning as perhaps I should have been.My bike was sounding rather clunky to say the least, the headset felt awful and the gears weren’t working properly.Robin, stripped down the headset, rebuilt it, re greased it and showed it some love.The amount of skill he has can be seen with how well the bike rides now. No annoying clunking noises, smooth gear changes and effortless pedalling.I’ve achieved 4 Strava golds this morning alone.I highly recommend Robin. A superbly efficient bike mechanic
