Gavin Harvie Bridal Hair

Gavin, where do I start to thank you, we gave you a LOT of hair to work with and you created an entire bridal party full of beautiful hair. I just can’t thank you enough.I have what can only be described as thick, curly, frizzy, long, untameable hair which most hairdressers shudder at when I walk into a salon, and he had to deal with not only mine and but my two sisters hair as well and other bridesmaids with extensions and mothers with hats and he just went above and beyond every-time with all of our requests.I have had my hair curled before by other hair stylists and it has always dropped and gone flat within an hour, so I’m not sure what magic Gavin has but he created the most beautiful half up do full of loose curls and they lasted all day long and looked beautiful for the entire day and the day after too! I really hope I have the opportunity for him to style my hair again because I have never loved my hair as much as I did on my wedding day.Both Gavin and Nadia really are the Bridal dream team, and are worth every single penny, they created the most relaxing wedding morning for my bridal party and I can’t thank them enough for being the most incredible duo and am just so grateful to have had them there throughout this journey.

Gavin was a total star - I went for Hollywood waves for my big day and they lasted the whole day and night. I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair (and you’d never know that some of it wasn’t even mine!) Would 100% recommend him to others wanting to feel totally glam on their special day.

It's difficult to put into words how amazing Gavin was! From the very beginning when I first contacted him about doing my wedding hair he was so responsive, kind and reassuring about the whole process (especially as someone a bit clueless about hairstyles!). When covid hit he remained in contact with me in the weeks leading up to our day, always reassuring me that no matter how last minute it was going to be in saying 'yes we're going ahead' we could still make it work (restrictions depending of course). We were lucky enough to get to go ahead this year with a small wedding and Gavin was amazing with being on board with still doing my hair. We didn't have time for a trial in the end and I wasn't completely sure how to have my hair - Gavin was so patient, did lots of research for me and had so many brilliant ideas to help me make a decision. What Gavin did on the day was beyond anything I could have hoped for - he did my hair more beautifully than I've ever seen it and I can't thank him enough. He was so lovely on the day and made us all feel at ease - including my littlest seven year old bridesmaid. Everyone commented throughout the day and night how amazing my hair was and it stayed looking perfect the whole time. He also did my sister's hair and she was also over the moon with how it looked. I can't wait to have Gavin do mine and my bridesmaids hair next year for wedding 2.0! He really does go above and beyond to start your wedding day feeling fabulous and his skills with hair are so incredible! Thank you again for everything x

Gavin did my bridal hair last summer and I must say that I am beyond thrilled with the results. From the initial consultation to the final styling on my wedding day, Gavin showed a level of expertise and professionalism that truly impressed me.During our consultation, Gavin took the time to really understand the look I was going for and offered helpful suggestions based on my hair type and the overall aesthetic of my wedding. He was calm, confident, and meticulous, making sure that every strand of hair was in place and that the overall style was perfect. I felt completely at ease with him and knew that I was in good hands.On the day of my wedding, Gavin arrived promptly and got straight to work. He produced a stunning hairstyle for me despite my having very fine hair by using clip in extensions to create the updo I always dreamed of. He also managed to create beautiful hairstyles for my bridesmaids, who all had different hair types and lengths. I was particularly impressed by his ability to adapt and improvise when a few of my bridesmaids changed their minds about the hairstyles they had originally chosen. He listened to what they wanted to have instead and produced great styles that everyone was happy with.I received so many compliments from my guests, and felt great about my hair. I am so grateful to Gavin for his incredible work, and would highly recommend him to any bride-to-be looking for a talented and professional wedding hairstylist. His attention to detail and ability to work with a variety of hair types and styles make him a true gem in the world of wedding hair styling.

Well what can I say but Gavin is simply the best! From the first email I felt like I was talking to a family friend, no question was a silly question and even with Covid playing havoc with our plans, Gavin was always calming, understanding and lovely! Getting to meet Gavin finally at my hair trial was just perfect and really helped me get in the Wedding mood, nothing was effort and no idea was silly, his opinions were honest and we worked till we were both happy, he even 'got it' when it came to the fringe! The big day finally came and Gavin the genius turned up, creating the most beautiful hair for myself and bridal party, making everyone feel stunning, he even included the 2 flower girls who felt like princessess! I cant thank you enough Gavin for your magic touch, for making me feel the prettiest I have ever felt and creating a perfect look for all! You were such a big part of making the wedding morning so perfect, thank you SO much xxxx PS my sister is still talking about how the curls lasted ALL day!

Gavin was absolutely fantastic! I had a couple of hairstyles I wanted for my big day and during our trial run, Gavin was patient enough to try out 3 separate hairstyles. On the day itself, Gavin was so extraordinary and couldn't imagine how we would have coped without him! He was so calm and reassuring and managed to have us all ready with lots of time to spare for pictures. All 5 of us (3x bridesmaids, bride, and mother of the bride) felt stunning and our hair stayed all day (and night)! If I could give higher than 5 stars I really would- cannot recommend Gavin enough!!

I came across Gavin 6 years ago and followed him on instagram ever since. I knew at that time, he was who I wanted for my future wedding day. Fast forward 6 years, and after meeting Gavin at my trial, I was not disappointed! Gavin is such a lovely spirited soul and he made my hair look fantastic! Thank you so much Gavin and it was honesty the best 6 year wait!

Gavin is the best! He did my hair for my wedding alongside Nadia for my makeup. They work very well together and are the dream team. The morning went so smoothly and he did all 6 bridal parties hair. I couldn’t have been happier with my hair. Thank you for making us all feel so glam. He’s also such a lovely person.

From booking right through to the last minute before I walked down the aisle, Gavin was absolutely wonderful and I am so glad that I chose him (and Nadia of course!) to be my wedding hair and makeup dream team. On the trial, Gavin encouraged me to try out a few styles and helped guide me on accessories etc and made me feel so comfortable all the way through, even when I was nervous. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!!I am THE most pickiest person EVER with my hair! I also have hair that not much hair stylists understand as it has a mind of its own! I met Gavin for my wedding hair trial 3 days before my wedding (crazy I know) yet the trail could not of gone any better. Gavin is so kind and has a calming energy. He listened to every concern I had in the trail and allowed me to watch/ change anything I didn’t like. He was so patient! The trail went so smoothly I had no worry or concern on my wedding day.Gavin and I sat and chatted away while he did my hair and I was so utterly calm as I knew I was in the best hands. Gavin was right with me till I walked down the aisle, making sure all the last bit of fly away hairs was hair-sprayed/ tucked away.I have super curly hair.
