We engaged Alister David Reid Associates to help with our wedding and could not recommend them highly enough.Alister and Daniel were an absolute delight to work with. They provided an extremely competent and professional service, and were highly personable and friendly throughout.They went above and beyond in understanding our needs in an advance meeting, and on the day were crucial for our wedding running as smoothly as it did.They needed only minimal briefing upon arrival before ably picking up tasks ranging from serving guests arrival drinks, making large jugs of cocktails, topping up drinks and ice buckets, ensuring people got their food in an orderly manner, to heating up and serving late night mac and cheese and stovies. In between, they made sure plates and glasses were cleared away, dishwashers loaded, and guests directed to where they needed to be.The day is a bit of a blur for us in any case but we have no idea how they did it all while making it look so effortless. Everything went perfectly and they were such an important part of that.

We are still aglow from our recent stay at the Ben Luna Lodge. Alister was sensitive to our every need. Drinks appeared when I didn’t even know I wanted one! He was professional but not stiff and formal. He read our crazy family like a book and kept up with all our stories. Alister helped create wonderful memories for us.

We recently hired Alister as our event manager and Master of Ceremonies for our wedding in Perthshire. He was a gent and a delight - the day simply wouldn't have been as enjoyable and stress-free without his involvement.He arrived early for the event and assumed responsibility of far more than we asked or expected. Would highly recommend for any wedding or similar event. Thank you again!

Alister Reid and his team are thoroughly wonderful and I’ve never known such hospitality. First off the meals were healthy and energising, but none of that would have mattered to me if it wasn’t all so tasty. I come from a long line of agricultural experience, and cannot help but scrutinise the quality of ingredients wherever I go. Alister did not disappoint, quite the opposite in fact. That’s just one facet of the shining diamond that was my vacation in a Scottish castle with Alister. Every service executed with the utmost politeness, care and attention to detail. At one point during the visit a significant portion of the family wanted to attend a concert that was over an hours distance away. One of the team, Daniel, was a gentleman with apparently endless patience. He drove my family to a concert and back, not only getting us to the show on time but all from a starting location way off the beaten path. Keep in mind we put him in a position where he was on duty until well after midnight. I almost don’t want to tell that story in case it’s expected from others moving forward but it is a perfect example of how well we were taken care of. The normal stresses of the day were simply not a factor whilst protected under their comforting wing, and consider that this was all happening during my own wedding. I cannot recommend Alister Reid & Associates enough.

I had the pleasure of experiencing impeccable service from Alister during the week leading up to my wedding in Scotland. His seamless coordination of every aspect of my stay, from arranging transportation to ensuring mine and my families comfort (including delicious allergy sensitive meals), exceeded all expectations. Alister's warmth and dedication to his role as a butler added a touch of luxury that made me feel like a princess. His attention to detail, professionalism, and gracious demeanor truly elevated the entire experience.Alister Reid & Associates provided their many services for my family during what should have been a time overwrought with stress. As I already mentioned, it was the week leading up to my wedding, and like all big families mine can be complicated. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about how civil we were all going to be under one roof. The worrying was unnecessary thanks to the impeccable service he provided, not to mention his brilliant sense of humor.How can anyone be despondent under the care of Alister? All of our needs were met and more. There was never any reason to sweat the small stuff and in my mind there is a direct correlation with the atmosphere Alister provided and the joyfulness of my wedding memories. I wholeheartedly recommend Alister to anyone seeking a top-notch butler experience. Again, a resounding success, one which I will bask in for a lifetime.Thank you Alister Reid.

Allister & Daniel were magnificent! The BEST!....They truly MADE the trip...it was pure magic!!! I highly recommend this team. 5 PLUS stars for sure. They were always joyful and delightful and it was a wonderfilled" experience....and you can quote me on that."

We recently visited Scotland with our family and Alister and his team were recommended by our hostess. They were incredible! We enjoyed traditional three-course Scottish dinners cooked by Alisters team, and visited several local sites at their suggestion. They arranged for our family to visit a local Sheepdog training farm, beautiful coastal towns/activities, and helped provide suggested itineraries for our stay. We communicated from the US via email prior to our stay, and met Alister and his chef in person several times while in Scotland. We received the highest class service all around! Highly recommend - five stars!

Excellent service as always. On this occasion, Alister and Dan were looking after guests for a private party that I was hosting. They picked up the reins and steered everything in the right direction with minimal input from me! I was very grateful for their professional, charming, capable delivery and our guests had a wonderful time. We look forward to working with Alister, Dan and the team again soon.

Above and beyond service, delicious, amazing food and the loveliest people who made my son and daughter-in-laws wedding the perfect day. Highly recommend and will call on again.
