InstaVolt Charging Station

Tried to start via the app and it wouldn’t connect, this was after attempts to use two cards. Eventually started by using Apple Pay. Not really good enough.

Very happy. Both chargers available. Skoda Enyaq charged from 30% to full in an hour

Error 302c when charging on Chademo on station 1.Station 2 worked fine.

Absolutely appalling chargers - I attempted to use the Chademo chargers once 3 weeks ago and reported that neither were working. I reported the faults, and yet I tried again today and once again neither are working. Please maintain your chargers or don’t bother having them in the first place. I’m sick of never being able to charge my car because companies like you cannot be bothered to maintain them properly!

The McDonald’s Newport chargers do not work. Both times within the space of a week, we’ve tried both chargers, and have yet to get it charging once. They need to fix these.

May not be generous with the points. Charging experience was a trial, as we've not done it before. Not sure why you need to present a payment card twice? Should be like any other fuel station, present your card enter PIN and fuel. Still waiting to see how much I've had. The other issue is the stop blocks. I tripped over one first then my wife tripped on the otherside.

Charging only to 48kw. Only one charger working due to other saying ‘log in’ and unable to use.

Charger one, touch screen is horrendous. You stand there pressing all day long and it won’t work. Also when you try to swipe you card it’s very intermittent. Apple Pay doesn’t work (who doesn’t accept Apple Pay these days). Charger 2. Card reader works but not Apple Pay. Touch screen works but took for ever to kick in.Also, if you have an Audi etron, you can’t reverse in as the cable doesn’t stretch. If you go in forward you have to drag the heavy cable across your bonnet or you have mount the rubber stopper slightly just to be able not to drag the cable to the charger point on the car across your bumper. Ridiculous design.Charger cut off half way through at 26%. Had to try another three times to get it going again. Gave up at 50% as it cut out again…!

Both units are only charging at 34 kw on ccs.... not 120kw. Ioniq 5 can take 220kw. Expensive for slow chargers
