LD Nails &Spa Loughton

Had my nails filed and shellac put on. They only did the 2 coats of colour but I didn’t mind. HOWEVER, I’ve had my nails done for all of 48 hours and they’re all lifting and pulling off - having my hair get caught under the varnish and I’m desperately trying not to catch them and pull them as I’m on holiday.I never have this issue with my nails so I know its not meWaste of £25

This is my favourite nail shop in the whole wide world!I moved away from Loughton in 2021 but I always try and go back there even if it’s straight from work and I’m in my uniform. (I look ridiculous in my uniform but they never judge or comment bless them!)They even cut my sons nails and filed them (we pretended it was a mini manicure) and wouldn’t even charge me for doing it for him, they really are fantastic.I’ve been to many nails shops since I was around 13-14 years old and I’m now 32 which I think saids it all.Highly recommend this nail bar and the wonderful staff in there too.(Thank you for always fitting me in!)I never leave reviews but they truly deserve more than 5 stars.

Too whom it may concern gad my nails done last Tuesday by female said was looking for new place to go as moved recently zmy infills were horrific I actually had too buy nail glue as one lifted and today another one please look after your new clients.

Found a lovely local to replace the shop I normally go to. Lisa is great and the nail art technician too!

Avoid This Nail Shop!If I could if 0 stars I would, I booked an appointment for 1:30 last week and was give a price when I attend the shop the older man at the shop then gave me a different price. It got to 1:30 and I was still not seen when it was 1.50 I sat down to get my nails down. I politely asked the younger man there if he can not file my nails down to much because it is thin. He then Proceeded to file down my nails then asked me “do you want to file your nails yourself” I was shocked and confused at his comment and said no I am in the nail shop to get my nails done why would I want to do it myself I was so confused. He started filling again then dramatically said he does not want to do my nails and I asked why he said he does not feel comfortable. I was completely confused and said because I asked you can you please not file my nails too low because they are thin to which he said yes, I asked twice to confirm and he said yes. Then he walked away, the older woman and man nail techs spoke to him in their language and he came back to sit at the table, and picked back up the nail file reluctantly and I informed due is rude behaviour and extremely poor customer service I do not feel comfortable him doing my nails, the whole experience was very strange and odd. I left the shop in tears how I was treated and without an apology.

Been here twice now and I've been so happy with the service and my nails both times. They have a HUGE variety of colours and they offer tea or coffee. I didn't book so came as a walk in and was seen straight away. The guy was gentle and kind when doing my acrylics. They even cut your cuticles and clean behind the nail as standard. B nail shop on Loughton high street!

I love this salon. I go monthly for a pedicure and they always do a fab job and are very professional and it always feels like a treat. Also, I took my elderly parents today to have pedicures done for their holiday and the staff were very kind and patient with them, it was really appreciated.

First time using, had booked over the phone, saw me 10 minutes early which was nice. Liked my end results. Would have given 5 stars BUT when i booked over the phone i asked how much full set of acryllics was with gel polish i was told 25.00But i was charged 33.00. Why wasnt i told this from the start? I also queried sns powder on my acryllics but was told has to be done on the natural nail- but the pricelist had this option. So a little confusing to the customer. I would still recommend as very thorough.

Really disappointed in this place. Had taken my daughter here numerous times but to go in today and be charged a full adult price of £65 for a child gel paint on toes and Extentions was absolutely disgusting. We will not be going back again after this. Really disappointed as they have only ever charged £45 so to be blatantly ripped off was bang out of order. Would avoid if you don’t want to be ripped off. Plenty of other places in Loughton which I shall now be trying .They have responded to my review saying my daughter had pink and white acrylic the price for this is £40 not for clear acrylic (which she has) picture as shown. Already after 3 days toe gel polish is coming off. This is totally unacceptable.I did let you explain you told me that you charge adult price but my daughter has been there before and only ever paid child price!!! You are lying!!!
