Mat did some pointing work on the front of our house today due to a crack on the brickwork, did a top job of it! He’s previously ripped out the fireplace out for a wood burner and installed a timber mantelpiece which looks great! Definitely would recommend him for any joinery/roofing needs, he goes above and beyond for us as he would any other customer.

Matthew responded promptly and kept me posted re when he would be able to start the work (weather dependent).He was able to diagnose the problem with my roof quickly and show me photos of the issue. The estimated quote was reasonable but I was very happy to be told the work, on closer inspection, would not cost as much as the original quote!Very happy with MJCs work and price and would definitely recommend.

Mat has done a great job on my stone roof, methodically identifying and fixing the cause of several different leaks. The work was carried out promptly and at a good price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Mat has just fitted us with 14 beautiful new solid oak internal doors. His work is to such a high standard, even with some very difficult door frames he ensured each and every door is perfect. His work was efficient yet thorough, clean and tidy, and he saw the job through from start to finish - no hidden costs or leftover jobs for us to do. He’s such a helpful and personable chap, it’s been a pleasure to have him working in the house. Highly recommended- Matt responded promptly and visited us within a few days of being contacted for a quote. He was extremely helpful in giving his professional opinion as to the works required. Mat has just replaced all our internal doors with solid oak. We are delighted with them.Mat quoted a price for the job which we accepted. When he came to order the doors the price had been reduced and Mat passed the saving onto us.Mat answered all of our questions before the job started and then turned up on time every day to get the work done quickly and efficiently. He always worked in a very tidy way, clearing up as he went along.We would highly recommend MJC.

Excellent tradesman, very professional, turned up when he said he would and kept me informed. Repointed ridge tiles and replaced couple of tiles on the roof. Work completed to a high standard, very pleased with the work carried out, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use the service again.

I can’t recommend Matt enough for sorting out our leaking dorma roof. We came a cropper to a rogue trader 12mths ago and knew it was only a matter of time before it leaked again, especially with the recent bad weather. Matt was quick to respond to my message and visited and quoted for the job within a few days. We were really happy with the quote and based on his knowledge and reassuring nature, plus his fab reviews we went with Matt. We were not disappointed.
