I’ve been training at ACTJJ for a little over a month and I have to say, it’s been the best thing I’ve done in a long time.The atmosphere in the gym is welcoming and friendly from the start and everyone no matter their rank makes an effort to help each other learn. There’s a real feeling of community here.The instructor Luciano is fantastic - a great teacher technically and leads by example. Every session has been brilliant - I just wish I’d started sooner!

Like most people, i was nervous walking into at BJJ gym but Luciano and the team made me feel welcome. Luciano is passionate about BJJ and this passion shines when he is teaching. If you have ever thought about starting BJJ, don’t wait! After the first session, any apprehension you have, will be gone!

Excellent Gym really welcoming for a beginner of the art of Brazilian Jujitsu like myself. The instructor Luciano is a great teacher and In my opinion goes beyond as he gets the students to carry the respect that is learnt inside the gym also to outside the gym.

Have recently joined the club and been welcomed by the coach and other members straight away, there are also no egos and every body goes out of their way to help. Classes run everyday, morning and night to suit around my schedule which is also a plus point. Overall a great experience and looking forward to learning more.

Incredible BJJ gym, been training here for a month now, the techniques that are taught are shown with amazing detail. The drilling is great as you and your partner get enough repitions and time to feel more comfortable with what you are drilling and understand the technique better. The sparring is amazing as no one is too rough and the higher belts allow the lower belts to work on their game instead of just dominating the roll. It feels like a family at the gym and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I couldn't reccomend a better gym than ACTJJ.

I’ve been coming to classes here for about 2 months now. I’m in my late twenties, very out of shape and had never tried BJJ before, so I was nervous about starting, but it couldn’t have been any more of a welcoming experience.The classes are always busy and made up of all ages and experience levels. Classes always include demonstration and drilling of new techniques, followed by sparring to put it into practice. It can seem daunting to spar more experienced practitioners straight away, but I’ve found that everyone is happy to work with a beginner, and they always take the time to help you to get better rather than just showing off how easily they can beat you!Luciano Junior is very impressive as a coach, he clearly has great knowledge of the techniques and how to succeed in competition. Even better though, he comes across as someone who cares as much about creating a respectful and positive atmosphere in the gym as he does producing champions.Finally, the facilities are great. As someone who spent his teenage years taking martial arts classes in dingy school halls and community centres, it’s really exciting to walk into a proper gym where so much thought has gone into making it a fun place to train. Classes run on every weekday evening, as well as some mornings and Saturdays so you should always be able to find a time that suits. The monthly membership includes all the classes so it is good value if you can make it to them all!Overall, if you are thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or just martial arts in general, I’d definitely recommend that you go for it with ACTJJ Corby.

Awesome BJJ gym I’ve been training for 1 month feel great I’ve learnt so much in just a month people are very welcoming everyone shows respect for one and other. Luciano it’s a great teacher always has time to show everything with great detail highly recommend .

One of the friendliest BJJ Gyms I've visited. The head coach is welcoming and knowledgeable, balancing tried & tested ways along side unique ways of implementing new techniques into people's games. Single session prices are on the more expensive side in the BJJ world, however you get what you pay for with this gym with the highest quality teaching. The monthly price is amazing value for money. I would recommend ACTJJ Corby to anyone traveling through to pop along and if you haven't taken up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu yet? This is the place to start.
