James has cut my hair for many years, even before the opening of Barber James, and his experience is second to none. The cuts have always been swift, neat, and to my high standards hence the constant return to use their services. Both Mat and Greg have also cut my hair over the years, again, more than meeting my requirements each time. My son has also now become a regular customer at Barber James, and he has always been well looked after. I am therfore happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a sensibly priced, friendly and relaxed haircut.

I've had my hair cut a couple of times (with Greg) including my last haircut before getting married! He does a great job, and it really feels like hanging out with a friend. The prices are fair too.

Friendly staff. Easily approachable. However they are a very busy barbers so you will have to book, although take this as a reflection on their pedigree and expertise. Fair price for the quality of cut you will get

Mat has cut my twin boys hair for years and gives them both such great style advice. The internet booking system is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this barber.

Popped in while on holiday nearby. Was really pleased with the amazing and friendly service. One of the best haircuts I've had in a long time and a fraction of the price I am used to paying in London. I would recommend to anyone. Also, it's a very easy process to book an appointment via their website. Special thanks to Matt Heard!

Such a great barbers, I love how you can book online makes it so much easier. They managed to put my partners covid haircut back to normal after we made a bold patch, oops!! Thank you for making him look even more handsome x
