SCAM COMPANY DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE- read my story. Purchased a rather expensive book on this store’s eBay shop. Some time later I got a message that the shipping price was incorrectly listed and I’d have to pay $75 CAD more. I paid the difference and still have not received the book many months later- they kept the book and the additional shipping fee and will not respond to emails requesting a refund. Do not trust this shop, super shady.

Three weeks after buying a children's book and being told it was already dispatched, having chased the seller I was told they couldn't track the package and it was the courier's fault and I never received the item.Now it turns out they are unable to source the item.Don't buy your books here if you need to have something delivered on time.They can't track their packages.

Spent £70 on 3 new hardback books. Took over 2 weeks to arrive and sent in a flimsy Jiffy bag when they were more suited to a box. Needless to say the package arrived damaged.

Do not order from here, they advertise books they're not stocking then 2 weeks post order admit they were never stocking the product and say it could be up to another 4 weeks. The books I did receive were in terrible flimsy packaging and way beyond the estimated advertised delivery window. First and last time ordering from this scam outlet. Not even an apology just a smug customer service agent who pointed out I had saved .16 pence compared with Amazon on one of the books I did receive. I only had to wait 2 weeks longer for delivery than I would have got from there! Lesson learned, I stand by all the other bad reviews wish I had seen them before choosing to buy from here. Don't make the mistake I did.

Unreliable. Order is still not sent 10 days after purchase via ABEBOOKS > Monster Bookshop. The quoted delivery timeframe was two days. I wonder if the seller is selling items they do not stock.EDIT: After a month Abebooks refunded the cost of the book, not the postage though, so the seller never sent the item, probably never had it and pocketed the postage fee. The courier they used said the book was not dropped off to them. Too much grief to spend time chasing up for the postage but be aware this bookseller is no good.

I ordered a book from here and asked them to change the delivery address as PayPal had automatically entered my old one. They confirmed the address change and told me I would be receiving my parcel soon. It still went my old address, and the courier put it in the recycle bin! It had already been thrown out by the time I found out why I hadn’t received my parcel yet. I politely requested a refund or to resend it to the correct address, but this was not accommodated. To say the least, I am never ordering from Monster Bookshop again.

I fell sorry for people who had a bad experience using the shop. I’m happy with the service. I got a used book and it was delivered in 3 working days in a good condition and well packed. I’ll buy from them again.

I didn’t receive the book I ordered so contacted the bookshop. It was an issue with the courier so not their fault and they dealt with me promptly offering a replacement or refund.

Awful awful awful- don't use!No communication, don't answer the phone.Books ordered over two weeks ago, they ignored my queries then emailed today to say one book they couldn't supply and the other was dispatched on 30th November- blatant lie, their own tracking says it was dispatched today, missed the birthday they were bought for by a week. Took my money when they didn't have the stock,as other people have said. Waiting to see if the book I no longer need actually ever turns up or if I get my refund. Shocking company.

If you want a reliable service, where you can have direct contact with about your order. Correct easy accessible tracking - DO NOT USE this service. I made an order trying not use Amazon any longer I saw the reviews and figured they were trustworthy. But the first issue I had is the phone number they provide and list as being available 9-5 is connected to an answer machine. The second issue was no response to my voice message. Third issue is I have to sign up to an app to track my delivery and it doesn't provide you with any tracking info that use use off app. I really would not use, my order was marked as delivered 2 hours prior to me checking the app and I had been sitting by the front door in my living room the entire morning. I'm tried to contact the bookshop but with no direct way of contacting I'm waiting a response. I really would go with a more reputable bookshop. Never would I use this website again - incredible disappointing. I hope to receive my money back.
