Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Opening times are as stated on here, very handy early opening on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The women staff are pleasant and helpful but you can't rely on the posted hours to know when this post office will be open.I had a parcel delivered here but every time I go to collect it they're shut. First I tried at 5:10pm on a Friday, when they're supposedly open till 5:30pm. They were shut. Then I tried this morning (Saturday) at 9:18am. They supposedly open at 9am, and again they're shut. This is incredibly frustrating. There's also no notice anywhere informing customers of alternate hours.

A great friendly team with no problem helping you with the minefield that holiday insurance, money changing etc. I was doing everything at the last minute before going on holiday; Mr & Mrs Ditty told me to take my time as they were happy to stay open to make sure I was all sorted. They remained open at least ten minutes after they should have been home and enjoying a cup of tea. Thank You both Garry McFadden.

Advertises itself as being open on a Saturday, it does not open so don't waste the journey.

This post office is around the corner from my house and I have an eBay shop, I post around 20 parcels a week. Sometimes this post office closes earlier than stated.95% of my items are sent as large letters. However, I'm having a real problem with one particular male employee at this post office trying to rip me off on a regular basis by telling me the large letter is too big and it needs to be a parcel. Today was the third time in about a month that this one dude has pretended to shove my large letter parcel through the wee slot to check it fits and rejected it...when I've literally sent the ✨exact same✨ package with identical envelope and contents maybe a dozen times in that same time period with no problems from any of the other staff. Every other member of staff who has checked to see if it fits the slot has somehow managed successfully.I'm at the stage now where I look in to see if this man is at the post office counter and if he is I just walk by or end up putting it straight in the post box outside which means I have no proof of postage.But I'm honestly over it.I recommend Govan Post Office instead.EDIT TO RESPOND TO REPLY: See the thing is, you're not doing your job *properly* though according toRoyal Mail Mailmark® Large Letter template guide(MISC 1311, MISC 1312 and MISC1462).Section 5 states that:CHECKING THAT THE ITEM DOES NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM THICKNESSPERMITTEDa. Place the tool on a desk so that the slot [5a] overhangs the desk.b. Hold the tool against the desk and slide the Large Letter into the slot [5a].c. Mail that is too thick will not fit through the slot [5a].Please note:1) that a Large Letter that goes through the slot with a little pull/push isacceptable provided that both the Large Letter and the print areundamaged2) same check applies for both Trayed & Untrayed mail itemsThis man holds up the letter slot vertically and pretends to push the package through. I've seen him with my own eyes. I've came back the next day with THE EXACT SAME PARCEL, EXACT SAME DIMENSIONS and watched a different member of staff get it through the slot with ease by measuring the correct way (placing it on the desk horizontally and letting gravity see if it will go through). The fact you're defending him for not doing his job properly and costing customers money on a daily basis says it all really - changed my rating to 1 star.

I went to this post office to recharge my electricity bill but I didn't have money, I only had change and the staff here refused to let me leave twice. That's ridiculous
