Swaran Indian Cuisine
Just had my first visit to Swaran and oh boy I was not disappointed the food was absolutely amazing. It was my daughter’s 21st birthday meal and the staff wished her a happy birthday. My mum was with us and she was not very well they staff were so kind and helpful they couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely go back. Absolutely great service.

Order Pictured - Chicken Bhuna, tandoori sharing platter, chicken pakora, Garlic prawns.Time - 1 hour 20 mins in the place.Presentation - see pics. Great the tandoori came out sizzling.Quality - 5/5 - it was Great, the sauces not too spicy and delicious. The chicken was nice and juicy. Best Bhuna in bishopbriggs? Probably. The perswari naan was the best I've had. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.Quantity - 4/5 - There were loads. I Couldn't fit in dessert and had too much rice but my niece could and they use tartan sprinkles next door which is great seeing local businesses supporting each other.Value for money - Good compared to similar places.Additionally - the place was busy which is always a good sign. Shout out to the service as well it was spot on. I'm glad to have a restaurant like this in the area. A must visit if your in the area. I was a local in the Briggs bar many moons ago and the old pool room from the Briggs bar has its own private dining experience seating about 20 people with glass doors. There was a 30th in there when we were seated.

We had Food yesterday and Had Adraki lamb which sweet enough so we ordered a chicken after recommendation of staff to have something delicious Asian spicy food which we got south Indian chicken was just spicy and chicken pieces were too raw not cooked well. So we just paid the bill which wasn't even worth paying. Service was alright, ambiance was well but food wasn't worth eating or paying for. Not recommended.

Terrific meal in here and great service. Poppadoms and onions, mixed Pakora and chops for starters..amazing. lamb Burryani sensational..combination of Chicken and Lamb Dishes with rice and fresh breads. Really tasty and all cooked from scratch.. Definite recommendation from the 5 of us..

I was part of a large group of 13 for a diamond anniversary party with my in-laws. We were seated very quickly and our drinks orders and food orders were all managed with super efficiency. We had a large sharing amount of the pakoras to start which were very tasty. The batter is very light and crispy and the pakora was very fresh. I had a lovely mild korma and we ordered various naan breads and rice to share. All in all it was a superb dinning experience. The staff are attentive and the service is excellent. I cant talk for cost as it was a treat paid for by my father in law. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for hearty wholesome traditional curry options you’d expect to find anywhere. As usual we all ate too much!

Fantastic family birthday celebration at Swaran tonight.Sonny and his team could not do enough, service was impeccable, food great (so much food on the special party set menu). All delicious, every dish. They all went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. 30 of us so no small feat to serve but they did it well. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Been for dinner, now a party in the private dining room. Excellent. Thanks again, we all had a ball.
