Gorgeous place! Stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Minehead & North Devon. Plenty of parking spaces, free toilets & litter bins and there are rock pools to explore at low tide. When the tide is out there is lovely clean sand too. If you want somewhere quieter than Barry Island this is just around the corner.

Free parking at pebble beach but pebbles more like Borders, tide was in so I don't know if there is sand to make walking easier.

Free parking and right on the beach, the beach is large pebbles giving way to sand at low tide. There is a little coffee van at the entrance to the carpark though this may not always be there.

Great views and a lovely pebble beach to walk on. Plenty of free parking but can get very busy on sunny weekends. There is often a coffee van parked outside the toilet block (which could do with updating and more frequent cleaning). When the tide is out, you can walk along the beach to the nearby Porthkerry Country Park, alternatively you can follow a public footpath which runs along the top of the cliffs. Depending on which way the planes land/take off, you can often see planes leaving from/arriving at the nearby airport. This place is quite popular with dog walkers, but many of them also let their dogs run off the lead.

Plenty of space at this car park and it is very close to the beach. My dog enjoys a run along the pebbles!

Forget about the parking. We all know how this works. There's plenty of spaces, get there early, though. Limited disabled parking unfortunately. Visit the Coffi Box for excellent coffee and really friendly service.

Great parking options for watching the airplanes landing or if you want to use the BrandNew skatepark that's been built next to the Large pond. Glad the old skate park got it's well deserved tidying up.

Quiet peaceful and very pebbly beach with a steep climb down to the waters edge. Nice to just sit on the top and watch the planes come in to Cardiff Airport. Plenty of parking but overnights not allowed

Beautiful long pebble beach with outstanding views. Free car park which was great.The public toilets were awful - dirty/ grotty - they need a complete re- vamp and regular cleaning.
