Called to place a call for blocked drain. It took a while to direct us through to Rainham branch. Rainham branch was happy to charge first and then book me a slot. Made payment and booked a slot after confirming that the engineer will arrive within a couple of hours. Whole 36 hours went by and after many chases for told that the engineer cannot be there for a FURTHER 72 hours. I cannot wait that long and asked for money back. No compense for the inconvenience we face and now having to look for another drain clearing company. Shame it went this way.

Lanes for Drains are absolutely brilliant. The sewer drain to my home in north London was blocked with wet wipes. I had previously had another national firm round to try to unblock it and they couldn't. They said it needed a vacuum tanker to unblock it - They quoted me £850+VAT (for the first hour)!I then contacted Lanes for Drains. They quoted me £250. So I booked Lanes for Drains. Their engineers (Ian and Francis) came round with a massive vacuum tanker. They managed to unblock the sewer in about 30 mins.Several weeks later I was invoiced £85 + VAT. This is just 10% of what I had been quoted by the other firm!I don't usually do online reviews, however am making an exception for Lanes for Drains. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Yet again they fail to turn up !!!!! The money they charge Thames water I bet is a fortune ! Shocking service. Stayed up all night. When I phoned I was told job had been completed .absolutely disgusting service !!!!!!!!
