Unfortunately I have been ill with Cancer and was unable to finish some of the final stages of my electrics on my camper van conversion. After doing some research and reading a lot of reviews I decided to take my van to FM Caravans, The jobs I wanted completing were:Reverse camera (wires were in place camera in place)Seating LED (seating Led was Not bright enough and need sorting)CCTV System (Unit and Monitor in place)WiFi (need fitting)Battery to battery ChargerAfter a consultation the Fitter (Steve) he said these jobs were no problem, and we agreed a date to take the vehicle which was on approx the 11th December. Steve said the job would take approximately 2 days.A week or so later I had a phone call from (Steve) who asked me to pop in, as he was unsure about the fitting of the battery to battery charger and wanted things clarifying. he also mentioned at the time if I had ever had any issues with my van battery, which I had never had, as the battery had never let me down. he stated he had had to jump start it 3 times. (alarm bells started to ring)When I went down he was unsure how the battery to battery charger worked.While I was there I noticed that my brand new Lithium batteries which cost over £1000 had been drained down to zero. (he had left my appliances on without turning them off) I was totally shocked and surprised how a so called electrician could make such an error.I ended up having to visit on two more occasions as he was unsure yet again about other things worked.I have now eventually picked my precious van up after over 4 weeks with the company, and to say im shocked and appalled is an understatement, the only things he has managed to fix is my seating LED light, he has fitted the camera's for the cctv but has not managed to get them working, and a simple job like the reverse camera is also not working and I have wires all over the place.The inside of my vehicle looks like a bomb has gone off there are bits all over the place, and he has not had the decency to tidy up. When I took the vehicle in it was clean and tidy and all bits need placed in boxes.To say I am appalled is an understatement, the fitter said his expertise was electrics but I must disagree. I have been left feeling frustrated and upset by the way I have been dealt with and my precious van will need some TLC. also I now have the worry of my lithium batteries being damaged due to this fitters incompetence. I would advise anyone thinking of using this company for any electrical work. please look elsewhere.Update...My brand new victron smart charger was burnt..yes burnt were the wires going in, there was a scorch mark, and the positive wire that was in there has welded its self to the screw and is totally whacked. Steve the so called electrician did not have the decency to even tell me he had burnt it out. They have now replaced it but I am discusted that he tried to hide it and did not own up to his error..I can't stress enough please be very cautious as this guy is not honest and I am appalled by his work ethics and customer service.

Spot on , we tried a couple of others first with no success. F M were very knowledgeable and had what we wanted. Our caravan is politely called a classic so bits difficult to source. Will definitely be my first point of call next time

Thanks to Annabel and Steve at FM. Serrvice and central heating fluid change on my 2018 Coachman Pastiche 520. Kept me informed throughout on progress an additional bonus the caravan was given a clean bill of health. Highly recommend.Thanks Paul H
