Munchkins Nursery and Forest School Pre School

Our eldest attended Munchkins from 12 months until he started school & our youngest has now been at Munchkins for just over 1 year. They both absolutely love Munchkins!The nursery has a great outdoor space to play in & explore, I’m always blown away by the amount of fun things they get to do all in one day. The inside space is nice too. The staff are lovely & their communication is fantastic.

Munchkins is a fantastic nursery that both my children have loved. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They all really do go above and beyond.

**one year on** My son is still thriving at Munchkins. The staff are absolutely top tier, nothing is ever too much or too difficult (including my sons ever evolving complex allergies & intolerances). We are so incredibly impressed & even more grateful. Thank you Munchkins <3My son started at Munchkins Wivenhoe in September, so he’s 3 months in & he’s never been happier, he runs to nursery every day!The staff are incredible & always go the extra mile to keep the children entertained & happy. The garden is absolutely fantastic & used all year round. He particularly enjoyed yoga last week & loves climbing the trees in the garden. Actually he loves everything about Munchkins to be honest.Thank you for changing our lives for the better Munchkins.

Both of our kids love Munchkins, our eldest left last year for school and their work really prepared him for the change. Our youngest is still there and whenever possible our eldest wants to come to see Kayleigh to say hello, and they still have a great relationship. Kayleigh has been great for both the kids and she's been a brilliant key worker. We have to give a special thank you to Teigan who helped our youngest so much and they still have a great relationship too. We have to thank everyone at Munchkins for their hard work everyday, they do so much extra-curricular activity and it doesn't go unnoticed. We would recommend Munchkins to any parent.

Fabulous environment that is so much more than a nursery! The staff go above and beyond to make the setting homey, comforting but also adventurous and promotes independence. My two children have absolutely thrived here, learning new skills, independence, confidence, outdoor adventures and social skills that we are over the moon to see.Thank you Munchkins for all you do for our two, and in particularly Tiegan, Kayleigh and Abbey who have all been incredible key people to our Munchkins!

Our children love Munchkins and we love the peace of mind of knowing our kids are happy. The staff care deeply, taking the time to get to know each child, the facilities are great and well maintained. We would recommend Munchkins to anyone.

I have one child that used to go to Munchkins and is now at school and one who is currently in the Acorns room. For both of them we've been so happy with Munchkins - staff are enthusiastic and supportive, the environment and outdoor resources are wonderful and communication is really good. Most importantly, they have both really enjoyed being there, and have had developed fantastic relationships with their key workers (Lottie and Teigan both deserve to be singled out for praise!).

My son uses to go there 3 years ago. The garden was great but the indoors space inadequate and lacking in ventilation. Also, they used to sneak in hidden charges for nappies and wipes into nursery fees and they would only admit after several email exchanges and a lot of pressure. Nursery staff were excellent

Amazing nursery! Our experience has been the best. The space is amazing, with cozy indoors and huge garden to play outside. The staff is lovely and so caring, they are continuously aware of every children individual need. We have tried other nurseries before and I can really see how the staff wants to make a different, my kid is learning and being encouraged to develop at his fullest, always telling us about what he did at nursery. He is always happy when he comes home and that’s for us the best sign of their work.

My daughter originally didn't settle well at nursery, however the nursery offered us some extra settling sessions, and produced home-nursery books with pictures and simplete text (one for home and one for nursery) to help us talk to our daughter about nursery, helping her settle.We get regular updates throughout the day about how she is getting on, what she is eating, when her nappy was changed, what activities she has engaged in etc.
