Baden Hall Fishery

Great place, friendly staff, excellent cafe with a varied menu. The venue also has an onsite tackle / bait shop.Can't fault the venue. There are lakes for all levels of experience, my only gripe would be that charcoal bbq's previously allowed are now banned, although gas bbq's are allowed, such a pity a few spoil it for the majority. On the plus side, the food from the cafe is superb, the chef's banter is excellent and the food, should you choose, is delivered direct to your swim.

I fished the quarry which is definitely not an easy lake, it's very weedy and the coots are a nightmare. The sheds are good and you can park behind your peg meaning you can leave your bivvy and barrow at home. Nice little shop and cafe on site and the bailiffs are very helpful. 2 of us done 5 nights and we both lost 1 fish each.

Belter place no messing around, laid out really well, run and owned by boss people, the cafe if boss and the scran ordered to your peg for tea is nice, food was very hot when arrived mine was a late order and slot was 8 or 9 at night so you can get cooked food throughout the day well stocked tackle shop reasonably priced well just normal as if you go local tackle shop. All staff are sound and willing to help and i will definitely be back. Fish were all lovely some very old lovely dark carp in the lakes and some massive carp definitely a place to fish for your pb.

This is such a beautiful place ..so relaxing very clean toilets and such friendly staff very well recommended.

I fished one of the specimen waters and found it hard going to catch but to be fair the conditions were very windy and a drop in temperature. Also i found the lake pretty weedy so think about your rig selection. The tackle shop onsite is open so you can buy any bait you may need and any tackle or equipment. Fished the quarry which is a true test of angling. Difficult water with the amount of weed and the fish a very wise. Still enjoyable non the less .What lets it down when you’re doing a few nights is the welfare facilities. The toilets are absolutely disgusting and very unhygienic which granted is other anglers lack of respect but the flush wasn’t working in two of the loos and I didn’t see any vehicles coming to empty/clean them. There’s one tap for fresh water which is well out the way from the far end pegsIt would be nice to have some adequate showers available. The cost isn’t cheap so I think a good welfare facility would be fair to expect.

Nice fishery, no toilets or fresh water supply on glovers, and all a bit regimental regarding peg selection

Love this place middle pool is a great runs water you may need to go a few times to get your head around what’s working I’ve fished glovers a few times and bridge pool with no luck but when I fish these pools I know what I’m fishing for it’s not a heavily stocked lakes but the fish that you catch when you do are worth the wait these carp and pike are in amazing condition. Also I’d like to add the shop everything you need the grounds are so well looked after.

Good fishery for all levels of experience. Has more advanced lakes with bigger fish and other lakes for beginners/amateurs. Everything you need whether getting back into it or a pro. On site Chef is a great cook, brings food and bevvies to your peg. Does get busy on weekends but that’s how everything is. Will be back again for sure.
