Balfour Winery

Lovely day spent at Balfour - a very relaxing few hours enjoying some great locally sourced produce followed by touring the absolutely beautiful vineyard. I would highly recommend the tasting platter which is made of locally sourced produce and the wine flight to pair. A special thank you to Amanda the manager, a really lovely lady who will do all she can to make sure you feel well looked after. Bonus that the winery is dog friendly too!

We did winter tour, with wine tasting, and lunch platter (through a voucher from Travel Zoo). It was a fantastic experience. The package included a talk about the wine industry in Kent, and the history of the vineyard, a video presentation on the production and bottling, and tastings of three wines. This was followed by the most wonderful cold food platter. I highly recommend the experience

Staff are very knowledgeable about the wines and the wine making process. It's lovely to sit on the outside terrace with some wine and a platter overlooking the vineyard. The tours are also very informative.

Absolutely beyond amazing. Hands down the best tour and the most gorgeous vineyard we have ever been to. We travel around the world to different wineries and this has been by far the best we've been to (more than 500)!Highly recommend you take the time to stop by for the tour and enjoy the beautiful property!!!

I visited the winery with some friends as part of my birthday celebrations. It was a wet and windy day so we didn't have a tour of the vineyard, but I'd love to go back in the summer. The talk was very informative and gave us a lot of information, the tour guide was very friendly and engaging. Then we watched a 20 minute video about how the wine is made, all of us under estimated the number of processes that are involved and once again it was really informative.Next was the fun part of tasting the wines, the promt cards are really good to give you an overview of each one.After we had some nibblesnincluded which were delicious.I'd highly recommend the winery and hope to go back again in the summer.

Excellent welcome at reception. Trying to purchase items in the shop, girls too busy talking behind the bar and had to ask one of them to assist. Roast very mediocre. One slice of murdered sirloin, veg on plate rather than a serving dish. £25. Cauliflower cheese in a separate dish with no serving spoon, had to ask and that was at additional cost. Very disappointed, had high hopes for it. Too much talking going on with waiting staff too.A great shame

Great VIP day- our personal guide was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us. Wines are amazing, lunch was great and the bindery itself is pristine!Definatly recommend the VIP experience.

It's absolutely stunning, the most beautiful place to visit. A wonderful walk around the grounds followed by a tasting of the very best of British wine. I look forward to visiting again, and I'm definitely stocking up on Balfour Wines.

My wife and I had a tasting and 3 course dinner here on Saturday evening.The staff we met were all excellent as were the wines and food.The setting is superb and we very much look forward to visiting again and trying the new restaurant.If the food is as good as what we were served it will be a go to venue!

Great wine tasting experience. Visited on a Friday afternoon for the 15:00 wine tasting experience. There were 6 tastings in total and our guide for the 90 minutes was informative, friendly and attentive.The weather was great so we sat out by the show vines" (the actual vineyard is a little out of sight) and enjoyed the selection of English wines. Still trying to get my head around English Red
