Janes Pantry

Visited today 4/2/22 between 2pm /3pm.Dissaponted, despite there being at least 8 visable staff, servis slow, at least 3 staff using mobile phones, 2staff seen drinking behind counter, visable to customers, I wasn't happy to see croissants on top shelf uncovered. A male employee emptied a bin, replaced with a bin liner, continud behind counter without washing hands, another employee with finger in mouth, eating again not washing hands or wearing gloves.

The vege sausage roll is delicious, ten times better than Gregg's.

Jane's sandwiches are great - freshly made and tasty.We have sandwiches from Jane's about once a week, but we always get two sandwiches to take with us to the airport to keep us going.Again, great sandwiches. Chicken mayonnaise and an egg sandwich. Both cut into quarters, with two quarters in on bag, and the other 2 in another bag. This means we get two meals each breakfast and lunch on the plane.I looked at the sandwiches in WH Smith, more expensive, did not look as nice or scrumptious, and again thought I'm glad we buy the night before we fly out..that's our recommendation. Buy from Janes and eat well at the airport.

Pastries are always nice and the staff are always ever so friendly

A brilliant little place that really doesn't feel like a chain. All the products are baked to perfection, a selection of baked bread, pasties, sweet treats, and gluten free options. A personal favourite combo is the chicken, bacon and spring-onion sandwich, followed by gloucester drip. Go and have a look, or get on uber eats, you won't regret it.

Always an amazing selection of pastries and pies/sausage rolls etc here. Highly recommended and the size of the cinnamon swirls is out of this world!They also do great sandwiches!

As always enjoying our Jane's sandwich at the airport. Highly recommend buying and taking with you. Fresh, appetising, and you've seen it made.Always buy a chicken mayonnaise and salad sandwich, and cheese and tomato sandwich. Chap kindly cut into quarters and split between two bags allowing us to eat as two meals.Real value for money, quality, and so much better than what I use to get from the airport WHS.

A lovely place to your lunch

The shop is nice and what they sell is good quality, but some of the staff really need to step up their game in the customer service department. In there this morning and almost felt like I was hindrance being there. Only ordered 3 cakes and once I'd left and checked the order it was wrong. In hindsight I wasn't surprised as I don't think the lady serving me was in the least bit interested in what I actually wanted, quite rude and abrubt to be honest. This is only the first bad experience of being in there many times but I can't ignore it and have seen someone else has had a bad experience with a member of staff, so this isn't just a one off. Just be polite and listen to customer's it's the least I expect.

Food was very nice However when we asked for a ciabatta panini the server didn’t know what that is and she looked at us like we don’t speak English! (Another colleague had to tell her it’s a panini sandwich)Really the staff should get familiar with their menu to avoid situations like this, making the customer uncomfortable. It took ages for the sandwich to be ready...and it wasn’t even busy
