Mas Bazar Whitechapel

I did shopping regularly with mas bazar, last week I did some shopping and I bought 2 biscuits As well but one of them inside the biscuit smells was really bad, I went today to change it, I spoke to some one on the till can he replace it,I believe he was the owner of the shop but he’s attitudes was really horrible,he don’t have any respect for customer, he didn’t charge it, it’s only £3 it’s doesn’t bothered me but they way he spoke to me it’s really unacceptable.The biscuits smells like cockroaches sheet.

The people in meat section seemed to be very unprofessional and rude with customers. They behave in a way that customers get meats for free. I bought three kgs mixed meat and requested them to make two different packets. The person who was giving service seemed to be very rude in response and was denying to do so in a way that is entirely unprofessional. I felt that he was just ignoring me in a way that he didn’t at all care about a customer like me. Being a lawyer in this country I have come across many people and for the first time i felt really bad about the people who are from Bangladesh, my own country. Moreover, they might have been here for long but they haven’t learnt the minimum etiquette to be maintained with customers which we always find in other countries‘ shops in this first world country. I am really sad that for the first time something bad happened to me here in the UK and that is with Bengali people. Some people would never be properly educated no matter where you put them. Sad indeed.

perhaps it's a good place for buying any sweet water fish but the worst place for buying any meat.on 15/07/2020 I went there just to look around and remember I need to buy some sheep meat. when I approach the butcher section they offered me 5 kg for 25 GBP. There is no doubt the price was absolutely cheap. so I got it.because of it was already 10 pm and late for me to cook so that i left it in the fridge and in the early morning when i have taken out the meat it was bit smelling bad.I do know the food safety and stored in 2-degree > just for 8 hours and that's what happens. As a result, I had to through it in the bin. and total 5KG meat was just completely waste.know I know always cheap is not a good idea to have.

No good customer service at all.On 2nd of May, me and my friend went to buy fish and meat. I asked a butcher to give me 3kg of Sheep's meat. I used bangla word 3ta Sheep meat" instead of "3kg sheep's meat" by mistake. One young boy butcher started criticism for it. This is the Uk and it is not a good customer service. Sorry."

Very rude stuff. Never had this kind of experience before. All employee should learn how to serve customer with respect. They talk nonsense in front of customers. Hope they will learn. It's not like bengali never learn. They are shameful for Bangladeshi community.

First time trying at this place i must say i am impressed with the level of stock. Definitely has everything that you need, the only down side was at time like this no1 was wearing a masks other then that all good.

I brought chicken keema yesterday. TookIt home and it was rotten. Spoken to the guy if the chicken is fresh and he couldn’t even answer me. So took it home and noticed the smell. Never coming here again for shopping and have notified the food standard agency to do a check on this shop

Some Frozen Fish like tilapia packed for Mas Bazaar is not good and smells horrible. Prices are different at the till…I have spoken to someone on the till who I believe he was the owner of the store but his attitudes was really horrible and aggressive. No respect for customer. Avoid like the plague. Absolutely disgusting service.

The worst butcher I have ever come across, one of the butchers(the one with depigmentation) was seated and I asked him if I could get 500gr of beef liver, he stared at me like... You are making me stand up just for that? He emited a groan, no words came out of him during all the interaction, I was about to turn around and leave after that rude gesture but I needed the liver. He weighed the liver, groan again and gave it to me and back to be seated. The liver was good.

This place was my favourite cheap good customer service but very disappointed because they don't follow covid guidelines. The meat and fish section is disgusting. They use the same glove for everything. The guys who cut the fish don't listen and are useless. I use to shop for elderly people but today was the 4th attempt and I'm definitely giving up.
