Very run down. Wanted full price for plants that were clearly dead or dying. Inside had no atmosphere was really dissappointed used to love it here. Ridiculous prices they had small bags of shrimp sweets and wanted £4-49could of got a bag twice the size for a £1elsewhere definitely won't be back.

Lovely food and surroundings but felt we over stayed our welcome due to looks" from some of the waiting staff in the cafe. Food's a bit costly but nice. The seats are so uncomfortable!!!! Expensive but lovely items for you

Amazing selection of cakes! Also tasty breakfasts, lunches and other snacks. We can highly recommend the bacon rolls. Healthy, varied selection of plants and lovely garden furniture. Great wee place.

Food is always great, but this place is queued out unless you time it well. Great gift shop and good garden section, bird feeders, etc. At this time of year they have a great range of Christmas decs.

Beautiful displays and arrangement of goods and plants. The cafe serves a great range of homemade food, scones, cakes and traybakes. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great car park though can be hard to get a seat in the cafe on likes of a Saturday. Great place to visit though.

Love going there for a bit to eat and a takeaway meringue. They are fabulous. Food is good and nourishing. Soup delicious. Great variety in the shop of summer goods, plants and excessories, seeds, feeding for the birds. The odd treats for the ladies and gents amid the Arran collection. Worth a visit.

Good for a local garden centre. I did not have any food here though***I didn't try the food here however I will most certainly be back to try the food. The cafe was bustling and food looked lovely***

Two recent visits to Hays, both times enjoyed the cafe experience food and service was excellent. My encounter with staff in garden centre was excellent couldn't be more helpful.Wish I could say that when purchasing gifts both time staff was very unpleasant and surly.
