Willow and Lore Wild Glamping
I recently had the privilege of being invited up North to host a gathering in Sabrina and Declans off grid glamping site. I brought my family along too( hubby and 11, 10 and 7 yr old) I was completely unprepared for the welcome we received which touched my heart on the deepest level. This beautiful couple and all their extended family manage to weave together a true Irish welcome, a profound respect for the soil they walk upon and all of the traditional ways of the people of this land. I give Willow and Lore ten out of ten for the beautiful space that had been created, the stunning yurts, the warm welcome and the attention to sustainability in every corner of the site. While onsite at Willow and Lore we managed to learn how to cook bread over an open fire, how to make giant bubbles with Willow shoots and homemade bubble mix even how to play the harp. We had songs, laughter and poetry and honoured Lughnasa and the Lore of this potent time of year surrounded by the best company ever .Thank you to Sabrina and DeclanYou have truly opened our hearts to the Glen's of Antrim. We will be back!Aisling@danuwellness and the Hurleys

I recently had the pleasure of staying over at Willow and Lore for the Fire, Feast and Folklore event.Mega impressed with everything. We got a lovely warm welcome from owners Sabrina and Declan, people who clearly love their wee magical corner of Ireland and want to share it with others. The careering for this event was out of this world! Top quality food from chef Eva Hourihan was delicious, well thought out and so well presented. After dark we sat around the campfire putting the world to rights the way us women do.Our accommodation was one of the yurts. Our beds were lovely and cosy and there was plenty of room for the four of us inside. The yurt was fully equipped with cooking equipment too.Everything was clean and well maintained.Such a lovely, peaceful, magical wee spot.I can’t wait to bring my kids up for a few days in the future, get them away from from all their usual screens and just CHILL.

What an absolute gem just a stones throw from where we live. Decided to do something with all the family before grandkids went back to school and although we only drove 3 minutes up the road so glad we did. The facilities on offer couldn't be better and although it turned out to be a vey wet night we really had a ball. There is a fantastic 'shed' where we were all able to eat together seated round the 2 tables. Great kitchen facilities as well as toilet and shower facilities. Amazing what you can do with a horse box!!Also one of the tents is set up as a seating area which we used later on in the evening. Very comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. We lit one of the little outdoor fires and the kids had a great time toasting marshmallows.Tents for sleeping in are spacious and the mattresses very comfortable and a lot of thought has gone into the theme in each tent.Granny always get told whether the family activity she plans are a success or not and this definitely gets the thumbs up from everyone. Thanks Declan and Sabrina for providing such wonderful facilities and surroundings for what was a very successful family get together.

I stayed at Willow and Lore Wild Glamping with my family in July 2023. It was an absolutely beautiful location, hidden away behind trees and opening up to farm land with hills in the distance. The hosts, Declan and Sabrina, were such a delight - so caring and thoughtful. The tents were well equipped, everything that we could possibly need was there for us (this was really appreciated, since this was one stop while traveling Ireland and we had only brought the minimum with us). We had a lovely fire and comfortable beds at night and a kitchen nearby to make tea and breakfast in the morning while watching the sun rise.Thank you for such a special experience! Our whole family loved it and cannot wait to come back.

Four of us stayed on a Friday night & we had a great experience. We were pleased as four women folk to be able to check in, cuppa on arrival and chill. All facilities were there to cook on a camping stove, flushing toilets and a shower!Wonderful to use the barn for chats and drinks. We booked in to experience the Reset & Relax afternoon and pop up tasting menu which was all local food, cooked by the chef in front of us and it was delicious. The bed was very comfy in our bell tent, beautifully decorated with a nod to heritage. We sat by the fire before bed and enjoyed our solar lights welcome back at the tent. This really is luxury glamping. We are booking again as a private group booking of 12 ladies
