Model Boating Lake

Good for families.

Terrible part of the lake at the moment. It is almost completely dried up, and really stinks. If going for a walk, just go over the bridge and don't bother visiting this bit. Otherwise, the rest of the park is nice.

Very beautiful place for running and jogging

A lovely part of the lake, Beautiful scene here, you can look down the entire lake and park from this point. No matter what the weather is like i find it really peaceful here at this lake. Very close to the museum also so you could walk round and take a peek in there and very close to the old Anglo saxon St michaels church. There is always loads of birds here and famous for it's ducks who come right up close to you here. Nice spot for a picnic also.
