I discovered a 3rd Armstrong’s store at Geviot Place. Some fantastic shirts and jumpers for men and women, army jackets and, waits for it, the selection of leather jackets is immense. This is is a first for me, trying on 4 different leather jackets. Less busy in a Saturday that its Grassmarket and Clerk Street counterparts. Now that’s an incentive!

shop assistant Pam was rude. kept yelling at people in the fitting rooms to hurry up. would not want to go back if she was behind the counter. That being said, every other employee when I've been there was lovely.

Just tried to buy a beret from shop in Teviot place, sales assistant refused as its part of a display....could have quite easily have put another beret on the mannequin...are Armstrongs not interested in making sales? Very disappointing.

Reasonable prices, beautiful stock. Deffo worth a visit. Their largest store is in the grass market. But they also have one near the surgeons museum and I found goodies there too!

I live in Texas and was fully prepared for thrifting and resale shopping when we came to Scotland. This shop was the tops! I bought a cute cherry jumper and vintage robe dress. Tried on dresses from the 40s - 80s. Heaven for a retro lover like me!
