I am writing to formally report a concerning incident that occurred during my recent visit to your store on December 1, 2023. I purchased a food item, specifically rasmalai, which, to my dismay, was found to be expired.Unfortunately, in the haste of the moment and the allure of the sweets, I overlooked checking the expiry date at the time of purchase. It was only after consuming a portion and noticing an unusual sour taste that I checked and realised the product was expired. This lapse not only led to an unpleasant experience but also posed a significant health risk. Had someone unfamiliar with rasmalai consumed it, the consequences could have been more severe, potentially leading to food poisoning.Given the seriousness of this issue, I urge you to initiate an immediate investigation into how expired products are being sold at your establishment. The CCTV footage from December 1st can verify my purchase and provide evidence for this claim. As a customer, I trusted your store to provide safe and quality products. This experience has not only led to a waste of money (£4.99) but also caused considerable distress and health concerns. I am currently feeling unwell due to consuming the expired sweet.I expect a prompt response to this matter, addressing the following:1. An explanation of how an expired product was sold.2. Steps you will take to prevent such incidents in the future.3. A refund for the purchase and any additional compensation for the inconvenience and potential health risks involved.

Brought Rass Malai one day before eid and when open on eid day it tasted very bad whole eid was ruined because of this.Checked the date and it was still within the date even though it visually looked fine. Please note in shop it was in fridge and from shop to my house it was 10 minutes by bus and was kept in fridge overnight.

Very poor service! This morning, me and my family went to their East Ham branch. On arrival nobody came into serve us. Then the guy named Aslam. Without attending us he received a phone call on his mobile and did talk approximately 8 minutes and ignored us. In the meanwhile another lady came in and he started to serve her. I asked him, why you are serving her. He replied she said she came in first. I asked him, didn't you see us (4 people and 2 children). Why don't you check your CCTV!I DON'T RECOMMEND them. I and my f&f will NEVER step in this store.

Purchased rasmalai and jahangiri sweets. Rasmalai was half way to souring and the other item was not tasty at all. Won't recommend this place.

I tried Nirala for the first time and would say one of the best sweet shop with authentic mithai. Appropriate amount of sugar with a great taste of khoya. Would surely recommend badam barfi. Bit pricey but quality justifies the price.
