I visit you every week with my family.I visited today with my husband and son and was merely pointing at a plant to show them when whoever the rude woman behind the desk belittled me by saying can you not poke it please?" Speaking to me like I'm a child. Disgusting and insulting. She needs customer service training as she clearly has none. I have left there absolutely fuming to say the least and my husband is equally disgusted by it."

A good collection of indoor and outdoor plants as well as plant accessories. I did feel some things were on the expensive side compared to stuff I’ve bought online but it did not stop me from stocking up. Anyway, this place is just around the corner from where I live. So I’m definitely going back and I’m highly recommending this place to my friends.

After a long time wanting to visit N1, yesterday I finally got the chance to pop down and add some newbies to my collection, reviewing the shops beautiful offering I settled on a gorgeous little Selaginella Martensii and a wall mounted pot so my Pothos had a place to trail. When purchasing the goodies the lady asked if I wanted a paper bag which I thought would make life easier for my walk back up home to Green Lanes but little did I know it would ruin my day. The weather was slightly drizzling but thinking nothing of it I strutted up the street excited to get home. Roughly 2 minutes later (not ample time to warrant the catastrophe that was about to ensue) the bag unfortunately gave way from the bottom sending my pot and Selaginella cascading to the pavement, smashing the pot into tiny pieces and damaging 30% of my new plant baby, I stood in disbelief. After a scurry home and a quick repot into a new nursery pot the plant will be okay but safe to say that bag and my mood were both dampened by yesterday’s experience and my chirpy payday mood was shattered much like the pot that never made it home.

Staff could not be more helpful, patient or delightful if they tried. Amazing selection of plants of high quality. Some seeds, tools etc. Great place to buy for your own garden but also to get a gift for someone.

It’s okay, but very small, so the range of plants is small too. Like most of the other reviews mention, it’s more expensive than other centres, so I tend to only go if I’m pushed for time, otherwise you’ll get a bigger range at lower cost by travelling out a little bit.

A bit scammy. Bought a variegated monstera for £70 and thought it was a steal from the pictures and the low price was probably down to how small the plant is. Lol. What I received was a Frankenstein of a plant with barely any variegation, the most variegated was a single leaf just planted into the soil with no node. I’ve had two new leaves since receiving on the main stem and they’re just regular green leaves. I could’ve paid £20 for the same plant.

Ordered this nepenthes and the condition it came in is brilliant. Very healthy beautiful plant even better than the pictures online. I will be purchasing from here again. Thank you

I came down on the confirmation they had the compost I called in for. When I came in the following day they didn’t have it and hadn’t had any for ages apparently. Wasted trip! I bought the next best thing which wasn’t great. Staff there are very nice though but so attention on your inventory

Lovely garden centre with a wide range of plants and flowers! Went here last year and bought a vivid green plant pot, which always gets so many compliments from friends & family. Went back today, and got another pot for my collection!
