This is my second time going to Vanity Fair Beauty for a Hollywood and Eyebrow wax/shape. I would highly recommend Jess. I’m so glad that I have finally found someone super experienced and friendly. Jess is a waxing pro and has also shaped my eyebrows to perfection. Jess is so warm/friendly and she makes you feel at ease straight away. The Hollywood wax was quick and efficient with hardly any pain.I hope to try more treatments in the future, but for now I’m super happy that I have found someone regular who I can get my waxing done by. I completed multiple training days with Jess at Vanity Fair Beauty School! Jess was absolutely brilliant, polite & would explain everything thoroughly. She knew I was new to beauty & took her time to show me what each step was & ensure I was confident in what I was doing! I have been going to Jess for eight years and in that time have experienced a wealth of treatments; microblading, facials, pedicures, manicures, massages, lvl.I have watched her drive and ambition build a small business into a thriving beauty school. Her skill and knowledge have grown over years of passion and professional development.To gain a qualification from her school means Jess is confident her trainees have learned from her and will take her skills forward to nurture their own successful business and reputation.There are a whole host of incompetent therapists out there who have clearly been passed as fit to practice for the wrong reasons.If you didn’t pass, you weren’t up to the job and the paying public have been saved from therapists looking to make a quick buck with no regard for the trust people put in their hands.If you were inconvenienced with a change in appointment times, shame, first world problem, life isn’t perfect…and maybe Jess was taking that extra bit of time to offer the personal touch and attention to detail that keeps me and many others returning.

Yes I did complete training with you at 16 years (YES 16 years of age), having my own business from 14 and being successful in doing so I was eager to branch out into doing semipermanent makeup you happily took £4000 out of my own pocket. Knowing what I know now and from speaking to semipermanent practitioners which I work alongside you should not have accepted me on the course initially due to my age and told me all was ok especially if you knew from the get go it would be potentially unsuitable but you never really have me a chance. I am a makeup artist who has organically built up my own successful business from the age of 14, you patronised me greatly throughout and didn’t treat me as equals to the other lady training which you knew beforehand example being when I had lady problems one day and I was 8 mins late and apologised, you scolded me inappropriately however the other lady was later than me on multiple occasions and you said nothing, I was early each day apart from that, not to mention much more time spent with her and much more information given to her. The tools given to us with the price we paid were disappointing as I see you invested nothing to ensure of quality once we left regardless of if I had passed or not. I tried my hardest, did everything you said you indicated to me on the day before last I would pass multiple times, you then came in midway whilst I’m doing one of the last clients that the other lady I was meant to be doing wouldn’t be attending so I will have to come all the way back up to Kent to sign me off and be able to do the last model which I was understandably upset about, I then messaged you regarding another date and you then went on to say that I was nothing but rude and insult my character and tell me I was practically incapable which was completely untrue as the lady I trained alongside had said to me I was not rude in the slightest when she asked how I had got on, I have photographic evidence. You then said I had to send you 2 weeks of different videos of me practicing each day which I did but told you there was going to be a delay on a Saturday as I will be attending a wedding and family gathering for my aunties birthday on another date you were not happy with this and decided to not take me back which I think is completely unrealistic as if I do not have other things to do in 14 consecutive days, leads me to believe that you did not even want to help me initially and just take my money which was evident not to mention that you actually LIED to the instructor that was teaching me and told her I was 17 which she told me on the last day, to me you are not a nice person both professionally and in generally as you have no consideration in regards to the money spent and my age. I have many colleagues with big followings and successful businesses within the beauty industry who had seen the emails between us and agreed with me and wished to put you up explaining the situation however I declined as it had upset me enough but as I have had more experience in the beauty industry and I have grown up, I have now realised further that this was true and people like you don’t need any help on getting their karma.

Below are not fake reviews, they are real and reflect treatment in your salon. I did not lie about my age and there is no proof that I did I stated from the get go I was 16 as why would I say it now? Makes no sense. You did not put any extra time outside of the course as shown from my above message. No threats or slander were given as nothing had been said via social media etc. and no actions were taken other than messages between us which no foul language or slander was given. Your treatment within your salon is POOR full stop and you are nothing but money grabbing. You should have never accepted me initially regardless.

I have to say I was absolutely appalled at the treatment my daughter received under this woman’s tuition. I saw all the messages and communication first hand and found her to be rude un accommodating and extremely unprofessional and very patronising I had to travel to Kent one evening from Hertfordshire as my daughter had been made to feel so bad but my daughter was determined to complete the course. This lady should never have taken on a 16 year old and think she realised this and probably had been advised but by then it was too late as the course had saturated and then subsequently belittled her and put her down and took her money £4000. My daughter is nothing but a nice individual that is driven with a good with work ethic hence she now has a thriving makeup business at the age of 18 . Additionally she has completed training courses that she had been successful and they have nothing but nice things to say and recommendations. Shame on you.

Awful. Jess is so unprofessional and generally not a nice person, she tries to conceal it with a fake ‘overly nice’ persona. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere, it’s a complete and utter rip off for both services and training courses support small businesses who are genuine & work hard and take passion, pride and joy in their work, not just in it for the £.

I’ve trained with Vainty fair beauty for everything starting from an absolute beginner doing my pathway to aesthetics Jess was so welcoming and supportive at the beginning of the course then went on to be taught by Rowena who is absolutely amazing then went on to do all my beauty courses which Jess taught and adjusted to my needs and wants and has gone over different things she has taught me to double check and just give me more confidence in those areas she has always answered any questions I have had after finishing my courses I then went on to do my advanced dermal filler with Rowena I have left every course feeling so confident and never worried when going onto my clients after I would highly recommend for any training courses and would never go anywhere else ❤️❤️❤️

Jess has a whole wealth of knowledge in this industry and I consider her to be an expert in her field. If you’re looking to get into beauty then look no further, Jess delivers brilliant courses and will help you be the best of the best in the business. She has provided me a wide range of treatments from waxing, laser, tanning, massage and also did my wedding day make up. She is very thorough in all of her treatments and always ensures you leave feeling refreshed and pampered. 5stars for Jess and her team all day long.

I can’t recommend this salon enough, I’m so happy I found this little gem.Jess and her team were so welcoming and warm (I was really nervous about my treatment) but as soon as Jess started my treatment she made me feel completely relaxed.Jess is so professional yet personable, she really knows her stuff too.The sunbeds are really clean too, I will now be a regular client at vanity fair.Sarah
