I contacted Mallard as I wanted to diversify my art business to include online teaching. I was a complete beginner with no previous experience of filming and editing.Scott and Max were great teachers - very friendly, engaging and professional. I learned the whole process from what equipment to use, to filming with a camera or phone, to transferring the footage to my laptop then uploading it to editing software. I was then taught how to edit and export the final video. It’s a lot of information to take in (I did it over 2 or 3 sessions) but Scott and Max were very patient with all my questions, and were happy to go over areas where I needed more consolidation.I now feel confident with my new skills and have been practising by uploading art process videos to YouTube. I would highly recommend Mallard for filming and editing training.
