A good first impression, since the new management took over. Fairly standard pub food on the menu, but it's very reasonably priced, and came out quickly. The lasagne was ok (could be improved a bit) but the fish and chips was fantastic - about as good as it gets. The fish was perfectly cooked. I'd give an overall score of 4.5 if I could - but 4 would be unfair. Decent value. Should be nice outside when (if) the sun shines.

Had a really great time actually. Food was yummy, they sell neck oil which made me and my mate come here over a few of the other bars, staff and other customers were friendly. Nice Christmas tunes at a good noise level. All in all I'd definitely come here again :)

Our book club has been meeting here for a few months now and decided to choose it for our Christmas meal today. The food was delicious and well presented. The waitress was lovely and so helpful.

Lovely atmosphere, excellent food, and most importantly: absolutely superb service! Our party of 20+ was taken care of by Britney who was an absolute star, handled every request at a fabulous speed, and gave us stellar customer service always with a smile. If I could give more stars I would!
