Used Ford Spares

Ordered a wheel from Ford Spares Ltd, of Stoke on Trent on Tuesday 21st January. It was delivered today (23rd) and because there was no invoice or receipt for payment included I phoned the number on the packaging and was speaking to somebody eighty miles from away from Stoke, in Yorkshire. They told me that Ford Spares had contacted them and bought a wheel at a cost of £45 and had had it despatched direct to me from there. Ford Spares had charged me £111.59. I phoned Ford Spares and apparently Charlie (the Boss) couldn't or wouldn't speak to me. The lad I spoke to said there was a three month guarantee on it. He said the original wheel on offer had a defect on it so they had to source another (did not tell me). I had to ask for an invoice which I got two hours later and on it it says ' We confirm that we have checked the parts delivered and accept that no further claims against Ford Spares Ltd shall be pursued for any damage later found to the above items.' No, you haven't checked the parts and the guarantee is worthless. The wheel wasn't that special and nowhere near the value charged. Recorded in detail for others to know who they may be dealing with. Poor business.

I ordered an engine on the 18th of July, it did not arrive until the 31st of the July nearly a whole 2 weeks to arrive, this was not a massive deal as I understand deliveries can take time, although when the bare engine arrived the oil pan was all cracked and would have cost me a even more to repair the engine that I had already paid £1,100 for. So I arranged to send the engine back, I had to arrange my own delivery which was fine as it stated this in the terms and conditions, although when I ordered the engine the delivery cost was taken off the price for me, although upon returning I had to pay out of pocket for the engine to be returned and when I mentioned this the Ben on the phone his reply was that “we only refund the price of the part not the delivery”. When I had the confirmation from the pallet company the engine had been delivered I emailed Ford spares asking if they had received it back and had an email back stating that the engine was not delivered, it wasn’t until I emailed the order confirmation that they actually checked the warehouse and found it was delivered and said my refund had been processed, now 14 days later I have still not had my £1,100 back and currently have not had a car for a month and have a loan with the bank that I need to pay back but do not have the money to do so, after talking with someone on the phone today I have had the run around saying our accounting team has processed the refund and it will be with me soon, but won’t give me any contact info to get in contact with the account team to see when my refund was actually processed and his reply was “it could’ve been 2 weeks ago it could’ve been today I don’t know” it just feels like they’re keeping a hold of my money and giving me the run around, absolutely awful customer experience and quality of parts, all I want is my money back for a part that was not up to standard compared to the price I paid for it, and I part I had returned and not argued with any processes, I feel as though I have not been respected as a customer. If my refund is not back with me by the end of the working week I will be contacting my bank and declaring this as fraud as this is daylight robbery.

I Purchased a item through Breakers yard and I paid for the item on the 7th April 2021(directly to Ford Spares), and was told it was dispatched on the 8th (that was a lie) for was received by the courier on the 12th April. And i have still not had the delivery(over 2 weeks) and it's been me chasing them up, for updates and when I will receive it. I got breakersyard involved but no Joy to my problem. I have asked for a refund again no Joy. So I would be carefull of parting with money first

Box was in a poor standard when received. I was told a dispatch date which did not correspond at all to when they told me. Very late delivery.One of the headlights has scratches on to for them to say there was do damage is a lie too. Would not purchase from them again.Completely ignored my messages once I'd sent payment and again ignoring them after my review. Send me a receipt through about 5 days after they beiieve they actually posted it.

I went through the website BreakerLink and put in car registration and part I was looking for. I did not hold out much hope because it's an old car. Ford Spares located and gave a quote within a half hour. It was despatched that very same day using DHL and car has now passed it's MOT

very good service over all spoke to Ben about an engine for my ford transit and he was very helpful i received my engine a day before the excepted delivery date... ive now had the engine all fitted and have had no issues very good i will be using them again ... a massive thank you Ben and is team as i say very good service

Found the proverbial 'needle in a haystack' here - a driver's side window regulator for a convertible Ford Focus. The price was reasonable & included the postage. Great customer service on the phone too, ensuring the part was appropriate for my car. So grateful :)

Really helpful and great customer service! Had the part in stock that I needed and collected the same day! I will definitely use again and I recommend to anyone needing Ford parts :)
