I engaged Jacks services to survey, draft plans and submit an application to the council on my behalf to have a glasgow tenement converted from a one bed to a two bed and create a new kitchen in the process.From first point of contact, to the last he was nothing but professional, diligent and personable.He turned around the work in very quick time , submitted the application to the council and dealt entirely with the very minor queries the council officer raised.My application for a building warrant was approved within DAYS, which was probably in no small part to the quality of the submission Jack made on my behalf.This allowed me to get my build underway very quickly thereafter.I have no hesitation in recommending Jack and vii architecture, glasgow, and i am confident you will be as impressed by the service provided as I have been you will also find his fees extremely reasonable.I will definitely call upon his services again.It was a great job well done.

I recently engaged Jack to lodge application for the replacement of dated cast iron skylights with Velux windows on a category B listed building.Given the difficulties present during Covid the consent was secured quickly and as required. Jack did a great job in developing our plan for remodelling our house. He was very responsive to my calls and emails, put us in contact with a very reasonably priced structural engineer, and successfully secured planning department approval despite GCC apparently going to ground over the summer. Quite a stressful experience working with Jack on the design of building our en-suite in the master bedroom, extending our kitchen and building a small utility space. His costs increased after initial quotation and his assurance about how straight forward the project would be, and there was a technical flaw in his design relating to the soil pipe exiting the building, which caused some issues during the build. All in all, I wish we hadn't selected Jack and Vii Architecture + Design for our project.
