Lunchtime at the cliffhanger was a great experience for 4 . Food was tasty & good size portions. Staff friendly on arrival & at service .

Great breakfast with a great view, would strongly recommend! Had a wonderful breakfast here, staff were very attentive and friendly, with great food and lovely coffee! I went for the Edge Pancakes which were one of the best I’ve had in a while, food was hot just as it should be, egg was cooked perfectly. Nice to sit in the bay window on a windy day watching the world go by. Nice decor inside, comfortable seating. Would advise booking or arriving first thing as this does get a little busy. Overall 5 stars all round!

What a lovely place. We were made to feel very welcome as if we were old friends. The food was awesome too, a small menu it may be, but it was deliciously different and the desserts were amazing too, we recommend this little gem to anyone. I'm sure we will be back next time we are in Dorset

The cliffhanger is in a lovely place on the clifftop at Highcliffe. It offers reasonable food, but the prices are fairly high.Breakfast currently costs £12-14pp with drinks on top of this.We had a mishap where they forgot to include the bacon, and this was brought a bit later, but was overcooked and somewhat greasy.On a clear day the view is all the way out to the needles at the Isle of Wight

A beautiful location for a morning breakfast, sun was shining, beautiful sea view and the food was fantastic! Very comfortable seats and the food was well presented and cooked. The waitress who served us was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. If you want a sea view seat, would recommend booking in advance.

Cliffhanger Restaurant
Had a lovely lunch here after a trip to the beach. Between us we had veggie sausages, chips and beans from the children's menu, a ciabatta, chips, latte, hot chocolate, Dorset apple cake, millionaire's shortbread and the warm chocolate brownie dessert. All very tasty. Friendly staff member (we think Amanda) served us with a smile throughout.

Spent the evening at the Cliffhanger for a Christmas celebration at their Michael Buble/Robbie Williams tribute night. Excellent food selection, wonderful staff and fabulous entertainment! What more could you ask?
