The Oaks Havant Crematorium

We had a lovely service here on the 13th September 2022 for our amazing Mum. I had never been to The Oaks before. I had looked online at photos of the room so I knew what to expect. On the day of the service our funeral directors drove us, and we followed mum. I did notice all the parking as we came in.Everything about the service was perfect. The room was lovely and fresh and the view behind the Celebrant, with the full length windows was nice. We saw a Robin come down during Mums service.The visual on screen tribute that was created for Mum with our photos and chosen music was just right and the songs we had chosen were clear and faded in and out at the right times. I do not recall seeing any of The Oaks staff on the day but then it was a very sad day and my mind was on my Mum. I am so glad we chose to have Mums service and Cremation at The Oaks as I could not fault a thing. Thankyou to everyone involved.

A beautiful setting, so tranquil and peaceful, the most ideal place to say goodbye to loved ones.Ample parking. Lovely staff.I have been here twice in the last 5 years and I would highly recommend to others arranging a funeral.

A beautiful, peaceful place for a funeral. The view is amazing, with trees and birds/wildlife to be seen while sitting for the service. A great, modern building. So much nicer than anywhere I have been before.

Having been to three cremations at the Oaks this year I would like to comment how the standard of the grounds had greatly and disappointingly deteriorated between April and October. The general appearance is scruffy and unkept as seen during the service - also the bird feeders have been taken down which is a shame.A visitor from Worcester also commented how surprised he was at the how scruffy the condition the Crematory grounds were.

At the request of my beloved mum her service was just 20 minutes of reflection, afterwards our family stood in the garden and talked for 5 minutes at which point we were ushered out by the vicar, which I found very insensitive and unkind, the next funeral party was already entering as we left, why have them so close together? We all left feeling angry at her behaviour.My mums husband also shared a moment with my mum saying goodbye before we left and one of the men who works there stood behind him impatiently, he should of walked away and been respectful.

The team that supported us were superb, everything was orchestrated beautifully and with the greatest respect for mum. We very much felt the peace and calm within the auditorium and outside in the remembrance gardens. Our thanks to all

A beautiful setting for that final send off for your loved one. With very large windows overlooking greenery whilst you say goodbye to enough parking for many many mourners. Thank you for helping us say goodbye in a peaceful and respectful atmosphere.

Attended the service of our dear friend Colin today.The oaks , is as you would expect a beautiful place& very well run.A befitting send off for a lovely man , family & friends.The chapel is quite simply elegant with a back dropfrom the window onto a tranquil garden.

A very peaceful setting, with well kept grounds, and there is even a welcome distraction from the birds and squirrels you can see out of the large window from the main room - which really does help when remembering and saying goodbye to loved ones.
