Flipside Dance School

My daughter has been dancing at Flipside for 4 years and absolutely loves it. Her dancing has improved enormously across all styles and the teachers and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. The annual show is the spectacular highlight of the year. She also dances on the Elite Competition Team who have enjoyed success both regionally and nationally. I thoroughly recommend Flipside for dancers of any age and ability.

The Best dance school! My daughter practically lives there! She loves the teachers and the friends she has made. My daughter has improved her dancing skill and technique massively since starting Flipside. We can’t thank Mrs Debs and all the teachers at Flipside enough! ☺️

My daughter has been dancing at Flipside for over a year now and loves it! She joined after we relocated and she didn’t know anyone. She was quickly welcomed into the group and has found the staff and other girls to be warm and friendly. Miss Debs is full of energy and fantastic with the kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Flipside.

Miss Debs and her dance team are extremely supportive, professional, friendly and motivating. Sharon on the admin side is always prompt with my many many questions about classes and times and helping my daughter on her days of dance.My 6 year old has been with Flipside for under a year, she does a range of dance classes and has recently joined the elite group. My daughter also has additional needs and they have always been inclusive and supportive of these.My daughter was in the last show, where she took part in 1/2 dances, she had lots of rehearsals which provided her with the confidence to perform on a large stage in front of an audience and complete her routine.We loved watching the show, we were in awe of the older girls routines, the choreography was simply amazing and it inspired my daughter to want to do more classes. My daughter has grown in confidence with a great discipline and motivation to dance.

My 2 daughters and 2 sons danced at Flipside for 5 years! The teachers are top notch! My oldest was on the Elite competition team, and loved every minute! She did every dance style and musical theater. We were so sad when we moved to Spain and had to leave Flipside and Miss Debs! The confidence, friendships, and abilities that all of my children gained from dancing at Flipside have helped them grow and develop in the years since then! Best dance school ever!

My daughter has been dancing at Flipside for 7 years, she started ballet when she was 3 years old and now also does Tap, Jazz & Contemporary. She adores all her classes and the highlight of her year is most definitely the show which gives her an opportunity to do what she loves best…be on stage & show off her talent. She has been awarded a few trophies over the years for various things at the annual awards which was a great confidence boost & it is a wonderful way for the teachers and principal, Miss Debs to recognise her hard work and commitment. I highly recommend this dance school for their professional & caring teachers.

My girls ages 8 and 12 are in their second year at Flipside and absolutely love it! They are not only encouraged, celebrated and supported wonderfully by all the teachers but they are inspired and mentored with such kindness by the older kids that have been there for many years. Flipside have really fostered a sense of family for their dancers and the level of dance I see my girls producing just keeps getting better and better. Highly recommend.

My daughter has just started her third year at Flipside. She is thoroughly enjoying it and has made many friends there. A very, very good experience overall!

Very disappointing!! My little girl loves to dance, she was doing junior musical theatre for a year, they had 3 teachers change over this time, no feedback on progress or in fact any feedback whatsoever and not allowed to watch as parents. In the yearly show the junior musical theatre had 1 song of 2 mins (out of a 2 hrs show) after days of rehearsals and all they did was stomping their feet and clapping! She had honestly learnt more moves from a Spanish holiday club (free) last year for 1 week! There seems to be an elitist approach and favouritism of certain kids that they focus on and forget the others, but they are clearly keen to take everyone’s money regardless! An arrogant and unpleasant approach by some staff members! My little girl and her younger sister will be starting a new dance school that seems much more approachable, friendly and accepting of everyone! I do not recommend Flipside at all based on my experience!

My daughter has been with Flipside for 5 years and in that time she has gone from strength to strength . Learning more than dance , she has learnt team work, resilience, hard work and real passion. She dances with the elite competition team which she truly loves. Miss Debs and her team are second to none and the shows they produce are incredible. The Flipside family is something we are proud to be part of .
