5 Star Boarding Kennels and Cattery

Excellent kennels -- clean, well maintained and or dog was looked after so well she didn't want to come home! Nice, professional staff.

5 star boarding looked after my 2 dogs (terrier & border collie) for a couple of weeks so well they didn’t want to come home!! Lovely staff & site, I would highly recommend!!Thank you Joan & Kevin! Much appreciated & will use again!!

As always these kennels are excellent perfect premises with individual indoor and outdoor areas for each cat and the owners genuinely do love the animals they are treated and fussed overTruly excellent

Don't often write reviews but after a recent three week stay (and a few stays prior to this) at 5 star, our dog Tide - a crazy border collie, has clearly had the best time here!He came out bouncy and SO happy, he is definately looking forward to his next stay here and we know whilst we relax and enjoy our holiday he is most definately enjoying his.The staff are amazing and clearly dog lovers themselves, it certainly seems like they treat your dog as if it was their own.Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this kennels to anyone, in fact I'll happily go out of my way to tell people how good it is!Thanks, again 5 star!Sarah, Lee and Tidie Hollis

We had been looking for a new kennel since the owners of our previous one retired and finally we have found one we are very happy with. My two dogs came out happy and healthy and greeted the owner with with enthusiasm and confidence which speaks volumes! The 45 minute drive for us is worth the peace of mind..!!Thank you for looking after our dogs with such care and affection.

We used 5 Star for the first time in June/July for a summer holiday as our usual kennels were full. I never like leaving our dog with a kennels but the owner of 5 star was very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating and patient with us when we visited to view the kennels. We were very happy with the service and would happily use them again or recommend them to friends.

Lovely caring kennels. Kevin is very understanding about our elderly dog's needs and nothing is too much trouble. The individual and personal attention shows.The place is calm and tranquil unlike some I have used in the past.Very much recommended.

Used 5star a number of times over 14 years. Always happy with the service. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our bookings a number of times due to covid and family brevement. As a result of this unfortunate circumstances beyond our control, my wife has been told that we are not welcomed to book anymore. It is a shame that there is no loyalty or customer service. I asked my wife if there was any rudeness by the owner towards her. She said no but however he was rather abrupt. Very disappointed with the attitude and it is a shame as I always recommended 5 star to other dog owners over the years and especially when they first took ownership , but not anymore.
