This beautiful spot offers impressive views across the channel along with a cliff top walk of several miles depending on how fit and far you wish to walk. Great for dog walking although it is highly recommended that they are kept on a lead as the cliff edge is only a few of feet away in some places. The cafe onsite is closed and has recently been sold so no beverages or toilets are available in the close proximity. Parking is free although spaces are limited to approximately 10 vehicles. The road accessing the site is in desperate need of repair.UpdateThe former cafe has now reopened selling tea and coffee.

Beautiful spot for sunrise and sunsets, overlooks the sea and just such a peaceful spot to sit and think, I have also camped there over night and I have seen such beautiful night skys full of stars.Bit bumpy getting up there lots of pot holes but worth it for the viewsOn my night of camping I was alone as a young female it can be quite daunting however I found that there was a lovely couple in a camper van parked next to me who was very nice and kept checking in on me throughout the night which made me feel more safer

Nice sea view for who loves to run in park. There's is small car park, walking trails, even you can walk down to sea shore. Great place to park overnight to see sun rise from mighty sea. Loved a bits to this place. Local peoples are friendly talkative.

It’s a great place to visit an relax, the air it’s fresh, you can enjoy you weekend there with your family and you will never regret. This place it’s amazing, I would stay there everyday. There are some nice restaurants around if you feel hungry after your journey on the coast. You can also walk your dog if you have one.

Brilliant place to start your walk along the Cliffs. There are alternative paths to avoid the cliff edge - best used if you have dogs off their leads and or small children. The road up to the car park is private and not well maintained so mind the pot holes.

Beautiful location, stunning monument. This war memorial is easy to access by vehicle and also attainable on foot. If you’re walking along the cliffs above St Margaret’s bay then this huge memorial is worthy of a visit.Lest we forget!!

Beautiful stunning part of the Kent coast and I'd hasten to say the walk down to Kingsdown is my favourite. It's one of the only stretches where you don't see a house - sadly soon to be ruined by someone who is building a house there (see 1st photo in the distance - large land clearing at the end) which means this will now have a large house, ruining one of the last, natural unspoilt bucolic views of Kent coastline. The monument itself is a poignant reminder of the past (my grandfather was at Dunkirk) and dedicated to The Dover Patrol.**Just to note (and not a moan) so it's no surprise on arrival for those paying respect - this seems to be a hotspot for large, overnight, EU Winnabego stlye camper vans. Kind of kills the ambience of the place to be honest and I'm a camper (early photos as I'd slept out on the cliffs bivvy style to get morning photos). Thought it worth mentioning so you don't get a surprise.
