Friendly welcome when I entered. Pleased with the burger would give that a close 5 stars. Bedroom was comfy , shame I had to listen to the cellar/ beer pumps air con running all night. As I have previously owned a Cleaning company I would say carpet in room 7 could do with a deep clean and attention needed to do a deep clean in bathroom on grout and around shower. Breakfast was served on time with a good self service choice and I had paid the small extra of £5 for a cooked breakfast which I was happy with worth the extra. So would have rated if room had been a touch cleaner and had been aware of air pumps

Stayed in room 7 and although the staff were very friendly the accommodation was far less than reasonable or comfortable. The noise levels coming from the pub were exceptionally high and lasted until 11.45pm. The cellar air con noise outside the opposite window went on all night resulting in very little sleep and a long journey the next day.WiFi doesn't reach the room and it could benefit from a deep clean. I would also say it isn't family friendly due to the evening noise.I did give the b&b a chance to address these issues before I posted the review, but they chose not to.

Held golf society meeting at the Langley recently. They were very accommodating and friendly, as were the locals. A good range of beers on offer and, I believe, food including the odd carvery. Can't comment on the rooms on offer as we didn't stay. Nice rustic pub offering a nice pint and a friendly welcome if you're around that area.

Staff very nice, bed comfortable room a good size. Shower needs a bit of attention : grouting, tile hanging off and shower door very difficult to shut. Should also mention on the net that they do not serve food on a Monday night, after a four hour drive we had to go out again to eat! And dont forget to turn on the sign at night or impossible to find!

for us as advertised. clean fresh cosy room, continental breakfast included. didnt have cooked but other guests were. looked very good. would suggest making any requests out of hours on booking page, especially if arriving late or wkend so can be advised where to get food etc if not available. very helpful. would stay again.

Oh we loved this place. A nice pub with 17th century rooms attached all of which has been swallowed up by a modern housing estate. We loved our room with creaky floorboards and its continental breakfast. Amazing front door!!! Recommend over the bland Premium Inns of this world. Good value too. DONT listen to the wingers below always looking for perfection, this is more than adequate.

Room was nice but no WiFi in room and bed way too small for 2 adults. Host lovely though and very accommodating.

Alright, so it's a weird one as the staff was friendly and the room was clean, however, when the lady was taking us to our room, on the way upstairs she showed us where we can take our continental breakfast. Once she opened the door, a rat was going back and forth in the breakfast area!!!!!!!It was such an awakard moment and didn't say anything. We all saw that and then we just carried on. I believe it's unacceptable to have that in breakfast area where is supposed to be the cleanest.I understand that rats can go anywhere, but I wasn't a nice thing to see.
