Brimscombe and Thrupp Parish Council

Absolutely Terrible...The Brimscombe and Thrupp Parish council that need to get their priorities straight and to spend money in things that benefit the ppl that the money is intended for (instead of wasting it on luxuries for themselves)... We get snow and ice for the 1st time in years (end of 2022) and we are provided with zero salt grit available and salt bins have been empty for years (according to all of the old ppl that's lived here ) and with old age pensioners running out of food and need to go out to do urgent shopping and can't is disgraceful, as again there is no salt grit to put down and to HELP ourselves to make it safe for everyone !!! .. Brimscombe and thrupp parish state that its Gloucester highways responsibility, and both Gloucester county council and Gloucestershire highways state that its the Brimscombe and Thrupp parish councils responsibility, the question is, WHO IS REALLY RESPONSIBLE????.The other issue is that the road and pathway cleaning has never been done in the 3 years that we've lived here, MASSIVE POT HOLES that's not been filled that are not just dangerous but also can cause massive DAMAGE to vehicles ... AGAIN WHERE IS THE MONEY BEING SPENT as it's clearly not being spent where it's intended to be spentThink it's about time that someone new is appointed (including it's staff) to be in charge of Brimscombe and Thrupp parish council.
