Avoid! I’ve never driven to Chelmsford before and I was picking up my partner who had an emergency appointment in London catching the train back to here and can’t walk too far following a recent hip op…I was 10 minutes, TEN MINUTES and received a £60 fine!!I appealed and it’s been turned down! What a joke!!They tell me I exceeded the maximum stay but they fail to tell me what the maximum stay is!!I will not be giving NCP a penny more of mine ever again…

Got there 11.15 from working late in the city & the damn thing was locked! Trains ran for hour & half later so doesn’t make sense?!£70 taxi back to Halstead. Not happy!

It's a carpark. You can park your car there. The stair wells smell of pee... baucause that's what they smell like in car parks. Pretty standard.

Easy to park up on the higher floors with suv. smaller cars best on lower floors

*Standard car park, well lit.*Covered by CCTV.*No gate/barrier, car park is 24 hour.(This car park gets confused often with the multi story carpark to the rear of the station which is owned and operated by the council and is not 24 hours.)*This Car park is close to city centre, real ale bars like the Railway Tavern & The Ale House and is the official carpark for the railway station.Pay and display. Regularly patrolled by NCP wardens.

Badly signed, probably intentional. If you are dropping of you have 20 mins before you would have to pay.

Didn't understand how the payment system worked until afterwards. I ended up paying the right sum by the app wouldn't let me put an earlier start time so paid for correct amount of time but a different period. You have to down load the app at the start

Expensive and almost all the places tagged for seasonal ticket holders only before 9:30 AM

Spaces are far to small, for the average car. Totally an unusual way to access the car park unless you have been there before.

Grim! Overpriced for tiny spaces that are better suited to cars from yesteryear.Closes early... payment machines are frequently out of order.Ps drug dealers hangout in the stairwells.. really
