Active Health Wrexham

I have been coming to Amie at Active Health now for 6 years. I first made an appointment whilst I was on holiday in Mexico and experiencing awful problems with my lower back. I literally got off a plane and went straight to the clinic and have been going regularly ever since. I cannot thank Amy enough for the help she has given me over the years. Amy, Tom and the rest of the team are very welcoming and I would highly recommend Active Health to anyone in need of some help

After 3 years of suffering from back problems and being passed from doctor to doctor through our fantastic NHS hospitals. I decided to call in and have a chat with the staff at active health they were really confident that they would be able to help me even though the doctors I had seen said, I would always be in pain and would just have to manage it with pain killers and anti inflammatory medication. After my chat I made an appointment for a consultation after this Amie performed my first treatment on me which included acupuncture, a spinal adjustment and a wonderful massage. My back was still hurting but about half as much as it had been in the past 3 years so I booked for a second treatment a couple of weeks later because of the amount of difference I could see from the first one now I have just got back from my third treatment and I can honestly say that I haven't been able to move this freely and pain free in years I'm no longer taking pain killers I just do some excercises that Amie had shown me, an enjoy life being pain free I wish I would have tried this year's ago before wasting months of my life sat in hospital waiting rooms. Thank you very much active health.

I needed to find a new sports massage therapist after moving to the Wrexham area and can 100% recommend the staff at Active Health Wrexham. Sally is one of the best spots massage therapists I've used, sorting out everything from tight shoulders to knotty calf muscles. I left the session feeling like a new man...albeit one who had been slightly beaten up ;-)In all seriousness, if you do a lot of sport, these guys will sort you out like no other. Give them a go.

I have been visiting active health for years and have always received fantastic treatment. Amie is knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I’ve always had aches and pains with my back but Amie has helped to manage these and has also helped me get back on the cricket field after injury. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Nicky Abell-Francis is a fantastic Sports Massage Therapist. She has helped me immensely with issues I have been suffering with regarding my back, hips and legs. She listens to the issues bothering me on each visit and treats accordingly, I float out after each session having arrived feeling much older. Many thanks Nicky.

Honestly can’t recommend Active Health enough. Had slight issues with my back for years which recently got worse. Decided to phone for some advice, and was advised to try a soft tissue massage first. 2 sessions of this and my issues have gone away. My only regret is not going years ago and having it sorted sooner.

after having aches n pains in my lower back for over 12 months i decided to do something about it so i made an appointment to see the local Chiropractor. Amie was very thorough in examining me and find the problem, so i started having manipulation treatment off her and within a short time i was feeling improvement in myback movement, i have been going to see her for a few years now, she always askes what have i been doing such as gardeningand walking, she is always writing notes on my file so to me she is taking an interest in my progress, also Tom is very helpful and always asks how i am keeping even if i meet him in the village oron the premises. i would just like to finish by saying that Amie has improved my back movement loads and i hardly have any pain at all now, so i would recommend her to anyone who has any back troubles

I've been going to Active Health on and off for a number of years now. Tom and Amie are so approachable, they really are there to help along with the rest of the staff. Always so friendly and only a phone call away. The system they have in place with a reminder text two days in advance is so helpful so you never miss an appointment. They truly will help in any way they can with accommodating you. Would 10/10 recommend. I wouldn't go any where else.

I’ve been having problems in my neck area this was the second time happening, the first time I didn’t end up doing anything, the pain started Monday morning where I went to my normal GP for the spasms and pain, I decided Tuesday morning to pop into active health and spoke with Tom explained the situation and he could see I was in pain and got me booked in, I’ve been twice now to active health and was booked in with Ade and I can not explain how grateful I am to him! He was incredibly he talked through everything with me and helped me so much! The pain was awful but eased at my first visit, my second visit still pain but nothing I was having before I can’t believe the difference already I’m still stiff and in low pain now but just going there having the treatment and talking I’ve left a very happy lady thank you so much Active Health Team! And a special shout out to Ade! You’re incredible and I highly HIGHLY recommend!

My Wife recommended Active Health to me as she has been going for years. I’m a HGV driver and was experiencing problems with my lower back which affected my posture and gait. Any was brilliant and after a few visits there was a huge improvement. I would highly recommend this clinic
