Portchester Vets

Lovely friendly practice with staff who are welcoming, highly professional and helpful. The veterinary expertise is clearly evident and the interest that all staff take in their clients and their families is a bonus

Our greyhound Berry made his final trip to Portchester vets on Saturday morning. I rang that morning and they asked us to come in within the hour. We had a lovely room to spend our final moments with him and all the staff were fantastic and so understanding. They gave us the time and space we needed to say our goodbyes. The paw print we received in a card today is a lovely keepsake we now have. They made an incredibly sad time for us as easy as possible. Thank you to all the staff for looking after all of us on Saturday.

Portchester Vets were absolutely brilliant today with both my dog, cat and even my toddler! I couldn’t have had a better experience. All the staff went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible for me to wrangle my large dog, cat and 2 year old human through the practice. They took the time to make my usually vet nervous dog feel comfortable and were kind, gentle and compassionate. I can’t praise them enough!

I want to say a big thank you on behalf of the community who follow the Second chance Fox rehabilitation group.I read the sad story of the injured fox Roo, who was kindly seen by your staff who assisted and helped Roo in his last moments after having previously been turned away by another vetinary practice.This is the type of vetinary practice people should bring their pets to as it is clear you value the welfare of all animals, not just pets.Thank you for helping. Been with Portchester Vets since Bonnie was 8 weeks old. She is now 6 years and loves visiting the Vet.Very welcoming and ca environment. Treated as special and no cause to be afraid.Vets and nurses are confident at their work and very good with customers.Never any cause for concern.Online communication with upcoming dates is excellent.

Portchester vets is very clean inside and out, and the receptionists are nice.The vets are brilliant and are kind and caring towards all animals especially my 2 fur babies, and they always talk to them and smooth them as a trust issue before doing anything, which is great as my fur babies don’t want to be in the vets and are a bit nervous (like a lot of animals are)I am always told of the prices about any medication or procedures needed, and all of my questions are answered so that I understand before I leave the surgery and the vet always comes back out to the reception with you once your appointment is finished and explains again if medication is received.Cannot fault Portchester Vets and would highly recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not a pleasant experience with this practice. The vet me and my husband dealt with was pleasant but the reception staff weren’t great and seemed like you were just an inconvenience to them. The only words they utter is the amount you have to pay and you don’t get anything to say what you’ve actually paid for. The parking is poor and overall it didn’t make us feel comfortable leaving our cat with them again.

Caring staff put my little Frenchie back to rights today when her paw ballooned up & was very badly inflamed for some unknown reason.They were very good with her & she was happily walking around before we even left tbe surgery after the injections she was given. Im very pleased .

Friendly professional team who welcomed my dog to their practice for a health update and dental procedure. They were genuinely caring and I would highly recommend them.
